i have 24/7  tinnitus  and some times i would fall asleep listening to it and go right in to a wild.  when i had first obe i heard the astral vibrations.  "possable tinnitus"  and last 2 nights i used a masking mp3 for about an 1 hour on low when i switched it off it stared getting louder i focused on it then i fell asleep  woke up in a lucid dream. then i had small sleep parlesis on my back i could move it did sound like like tinnitus. could it be that couses my obes and lucid dreams.?

Many people have used the ringing in their ears as a way to fixate their focus on something that is non physical.

I wouldn't say that tinnitus is what is causing your OOBE's but that you are unknowingly using it to achieve one.

From what I understand this condition is hard on many people so I admire you for using it in a positive way.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

I have 24/7 ringing in my ears, too. The more my spirit has seemed to evolve, the louder they have become. When I started to become lucid or go into SP, that's when they began. Now that I project and am lucid all the time, the vibrating in my head has increased. In fact, even giving my energy or thought into talking about the noises in my head makes them grow louder. As I typed this, it grew louder for a moment.

If I smoke any cannabis or reach a deeper state of meditation, this noise will get louder. I'm convinced it has something to do with the nonphysical noises of energies. Sometimes, I completely tune it out and pay no mind to it at all. Thinking about it definitely elevates it, though. But yeah, I go lucid all the time and OBE sometimes or find myself in SP. I wonder if us hearing this noise means we may be tapping in to something.

i do think it is linked  also i notice when im lying down the tinntus makes my body shakes it feels like sitting on a washing machine. i think thats what astral vibration

I've had this for years and have learned to live with it,
only really notice if I focus on them
I get 3 different freqencies , left ear is very high the right ear is lower, and lying in bed at night , I can hear a very low
frequency , like a train in the distance just as its on the verge of going out of range,
and then I can get random unexpected tones as i'm going about my day,
might try meditating on them though never really thought of using them for AP , they've always just been there.

Many people are hearing this. Some say it's the sound of the universe.

Here's why I believe in this theory. When my vibrations raise, the frequency changes. If I am in an altered state of mind, ever, it will also raise. Sometimes in both ears, and sometimes in just one. Before OBE, this frequency also gets louder.

Sounds a lot like the 963 hz frequency to me.

If I listen to this, it practically does a duet with the sound I already hear in my head, where they mesh almost perfectly with each other.

The tones i hear are probably 3x that frequency or more, I will have to do some experimenting I think.

Do they sound like bells, tuning forks, or kinda like crystal singing bowls in a high pitch? Because that's what it's like for me. It almost sounds heavenly, in a way.

I hear a ringing sometimes but I usually brush it off because it comes when I'm in the middle of something. One night I was lying on my couch just resting and relaxing when I started to have this feeling. It's quite hard to explain.. It kinda feels like I'm slipping away.. as if I'm about to lose consciousness.. like I'm going to faint but not in a way that indicates I have an abnormality or imbalance of any kind. I've had this feeling before and I usually just fight it or I would shake it off.. the closest thing I can use to relate is the feeling of being light-headed but it's not quite the same. This feeling did not seem as if I was sick or like there was anything wrong with me. Well, this time I decided to go along with it and see what would happen.

I relaxed into the feeling and then I started to hear a high pitched tone in my ear. I closed my eyes and concentrated on the tone and it got louder and then built up in pressure. Once it got to a certain pressurized point I felt as if my conscious awareness slid from my head and slipped into a tunnel in my chest (the only way I can describe it). Once this happened my chest then began to rise and I felt as if I was floating upwards from my chest up. Once that sensation ceased I then felt as if I was separating from my body diagonally and upwards to the left. This separation accompanied a magnetic pull at my left foot. The more I concentrated on separating the more I would be magnetically pulled out of my body (I'm emphasizing that it felt very magnetic). When I would stop concentrating on separating I would simply float motionlessly.

Eventually I was floating horizontally a few feet up above and to the left of my physical body in a new body that seemed just as much physical as the one I had just separated from. I was in the same room and was now wearing a shirt (I wasn't physically wearing a shirt at the time). I was trying to move so that I could go explore but I felt stuck. I was very alert and awake and magnetically stuck floating horizontally in the air of my living room. I tried to put my feet down and turn vertically upright but there was this huge resistance and it was just not working. After floating there for god knows how long (and being kind of satisfied with the experience) I decided to call it quits, intended to be back in my body and woke up immediately.

Looking back at the experience I'm quite sure if I would've concentrated on separating further from my physical body I would've eventually got far enough to be able to move freely and explore. However, that being my first conscious-exit experience I didn't mind simply separating and coming back. One thing I learned from the experience is that it confirmed to me that the out of body experience is definitely happening within us. There was a definite feeling of going within my self before a separation of any kind. And that is my experience with the high pitched tone in my ear.
