Can you explain a little what the Holo-sync is? and where you get it? I'm not familiar with it, though I am using the Hemi-sync Gateway Series. Thanks.

Greetings everyone,

I don't personally own either "hemi" or "holo" versions of "sync" but they seem to me to be the identical priinciple along with many others. The principle is "bineural beats" utilising stereo sound to input slightly offset frequencies in each ear, the result being a harmonic frequency which corresponds with the desired altered state. They seem to differ in how these frequencies are utilised, and the type of sound overlay, e.g. voice guidance, music, pink noise etc..

As I have mentioned before, in my view BWGEN is the best option due to the unlimited flexibility of creating your own pre-sets, and the availability of numerous others for just about every purpose. Not to mention the fact it is infinitely less expensive [:)] The only potenial problem is that it requires headphones connected to a PC rather than a CD in a CD player.

We have some excellent pre-sets in the file library that correspond to the TMI series.

With best regards,

Adrian.

Initially generating the sounds requires the computer, but those sounds can easily be recorded to wav or MP3 and burned to a CD in either audio or MP3 formats. It is very easy to do. The problem I have with it is not wanting to pay for BWgen to be able to import presets.

from a "technical" poit of view, the only difference is that holo-sync uses lower carrier frequencies and it gets lower with each level of their program (e.g. where hemi-sync may use 95hz in one ear and 90hz in the other to generate a 5hz brainwave, holosync may use 75 and 70hz), on the "intentional" level, there are great differences. hemi-sync has a lot of different tapes for a lot of different purposes, most having to do with self-exploration and oobe - with holo-sync, you basically sit and listen for 1 hour a day, and clear up the emotional "garbage" that has accumulated in the course of your life. Holo-sync is more long-term oriented, where you go through a lot of resistance and clearing for a couple of years before you really see your prograss (and by then you will have made A LOT of progress) whereas with hemi-sync you get a lot of short-term satisfaction, with oobes and the like.
not to forget hemi-sync's "human plus" series, where you implant a set of "trigger words" that will make you relax, or sleep etc.
i'd say both are very useful, but if I had the money, i'd definitely go for holo-sync.

Maya I was curious how you got a free cd, and if the promotion is still on! I was also curious if you could post the website

Phenox19

You can get a free CD just for going to the web site when you leave the web site a form will pop up for a free CD. The web address is http://www.centerpointe.com/index.cfm Have fun. Holo sync is some great stuff.

There is yet another website that offers a CD for a modest amount (about $35. USD):
http://www.awakenedminds.com/

The website does technical comparisons of all of the other cds w/their one cd.
It may be worth looking into.

I recently got the "trial" CD of the Holo-sync system. It seems to be the same basic technology as hemi-sync, with one tone in one ear and another tone in the other ear, with the brain tending to follow the beat(difference)frequency. Does anyone know if there is a difference between these two audio techniques?
Thanks,
Maya
