EDIT: I will be using this page as a journal as well. I will explain everything to the best of my detail, in hopes of someone aiding me through any road blocks they can see in my stories.

I would really appreciate feedback on what i am doing wrong/can do better/lack. Thanks ahead of time.

Well I'm not one for "training" but as a novice at this I find that meditation daily and making sure you get enough sleep. For me if I do not get enough sleep I can not concentrate and I just fall asleep. I have found that the best time for me is in the morning after I have gotten up to use the bathroom. I can get the vibrations regularly and have had one OBE. I just lie still with my eyes closed and wait the vibrations just seem to come to me. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice.

Whenever i try to meditate at night to induce the out of body experience, i eventually fall asleep. And then i wake up sometime between 2-6. This doesn't happen when i just fall asleep like normal. Last night i recognized this so i decided if i woke up i would try. I have never tried at any other time than when i go to bed.

So this morning i woke up at 5:40. I know its not an ideal time but its better than nothing.

I played the cd, which i now know is better than i thought. The binaurals could've been a bit louder... but i can't have everything how i'd like now... can i?

I believe i got very, very, very close to having an OBE. Once my mind was fully aware and my body was fully asleep the cd started telling me to do things with my newfound energy body. Stretch it out, pretend you're one foot taller, two feet taller etc. I was having a bit of trouble at this part. I could feel the energy but not in a body form.

I eventually got it towards the end (I think)... But i guess i forgot to remove the last two tracks which are meant to be played while you're asleep... so at the MOMENT i thought i was getting an OBE... it switched over to like... 5 steps back before i was aware of my astral body... so i woke up... very numb... stretched on the bed my face was still numb :D

Looking forward to trying tonight. I would appreciate it if someone could define some things such as trance... I think i'm getting into it but i cannot be sure because i am not exactly sure what to expect.

EDIT:
As a recap of what I have gotten:
Total numbness
Floating sensation.
Thoughtlessness & Bodily sleep
"Almost" sight. I can picture things (distortedly) that are in front of me but i dont think i've gotten sight"

Now that i've been reading more I've come to conclusion my mind isn't coming fully asleep. It's fully numb, but I'm not experiencing SP. Is this a problem?

I felt vibrations for the last night. When i was relaxing all of a sudden i noticed my arms felt like they were sliding down further towards my feet (they were already extended all the way...so it wasn't physical) and i eventually felt vibrations... or so i think. It felt like hundreds of "rollers" under my body (i remember my back most vividly) were massaging my back in a fast motion. Was not accompanied by sound. Would this be considered a vibration? I didn't panic, i just didn't know how to react to them so i continued to relax... but they went away. I don't really remember anything after that, though i know i was awake for at least 10 more minutes.

I woke up at 5 this morning, went on this forums for 20 minutes and went back on the bed to try again with the CD that talks me through it. I think I'm going to stop using it. It gets me as deep as usual but ends up going to fast for me... i feel like i need to spend more time. I'll just have to recognize each stage as i begin to experience them... and read about what i should do on each of these stages. Anyways, I think i did decent this morning as well. About 15 or 20 minutes into the CD i heard a noise that sounded like it was coming from the kitchen area of my house, like a bottle of soda opening. It startled me a little bit but nothing much and i kept my emotions under control. I was thinking it might've been my brother but he would've went on the computer if he was awake so... i think it was a hallucination :). About 30 minutes in (probably) the cd i was listening to told me to try to float above my body... but i found it more effective for me to try to sink below my body. hooray!. A few minutes I tried to guide myself with my consciousness to float and fly around. I have trouble doing this. But I sort of... imagined it (more as of 3d than visual) as a point in my mind... somewhere outside my body and i was trying to move it with my head.  I was moving it randomly and somewhere out of the house it went into the alley and for a moment i could see as if i was in there and facing the end of the alley. It could've been the beginning of the dream i snapped out of, but I'm not sure.

I am still new and any part of anything I have said so far could be damn well imaginary.

I am reading a book by Robert Peterson and he talks about when he is a child: "  I was always "zapped" into  a state  of  acute alertness. "

I notice i experience the same thing, and it feels like there is a very very heavy blanket on my numb body.

Its a great read. For anyone who's interested heres the link
