HI DOA,

Interesting experience. I don't think I can be of much help to you as I rarely remember dreams and have always felt funny interpreting another's experience of any kind. The place you've described sounds a lot like a one of the many worlds within the Belief System Territories (the BST..usually everyone in these worlds know they've died) that people go after dying...a place I visited for retrieval purposes. I too called it a 'purgatory' of sorts, where everyone seemed to be waiting to be told what to do, where to go. They were either asleep or in a daze--their awareness almost completely shut down. They were there because they believed that someone/something greater than themselves had to make all decisions for them, including the belief they were to be judged, etc. I don't know about the woman who appeared to be different. Could it possibly mean she was still residing here in the physical and was at that moment asleep...and visiting there for some reason? Just guessing. It would be interesting if you could return--see what further info you could gather.

This brings to mind something I read in Castaneda. He was told that there are elements of your dreams that are "alien energy"...i.e., you didn't create them yourself.

Lets imagine that in your dream, your mind has created the environment. (not necessarily what happened!) According to Castaneda, these items that look distinctly out of place in a dream are items that do not originate in your mind. It is you who is interpreting an alien type of energy.

He also says that if you examine the item that looks out of place, it'll quickly change into something else. Give it a go if you get the chance !

Im sorry I took a very long way around to ask a simple question.  How can I tell if they are entities or my own creations?

I have had a few experiences with this.  First I was having a almost lucid dream.  By that I mean I knew who I was and that I was alive and I was in some type of dream but I had a purpose and what that purpose was I was not sure and didnt question it.  I had a dream a long time ago where I was walking down a school hall and I saw tons of students and they were all like ghosts they were white and transparent.  I was walking down a hall and I saw a figure in the middle of all these students and he was differant.  He reminded me of the cowardly lion from wizard of oz.  Well he was in full color very differant from the others.  He was laughing and having a good time with these people.  Well i was walking by hurried by 2 people that were with me and we made eye contact.  I was asking the 2 that were with me who was that and they said dont stop keep going.  Well this full color thing looked at me and it stopped laughing.  My thought was he knew I was aware not dreaming.  He just looked at me as I stode by.  Then one of the 2 people that were with me said he is following us and she left to go do something about it and I was waiting looking around to see who would show up then I woke up.

the experience I type originally was similar to this one in that when I saw the differance in the cowardl lion and this women they were almost the same.  Would that suggest that the more aware you are the more color you have?  Maybe this was a place where people go and they realize they have passed but are not fully aware of whats going on?

Ginny I was wondering something about a dream I had.  I was in a dream where I knew everyone was dead.  I was talking to a women on the street and was telling her that she was dead and she wouldnt belive me.  I said watch this, and I tried to put my hand through her stomache.  I was suprised that it didnt go through.  I at that point was unsure about my status.  I kinda knew I was dreaming but it didnt totally match.  Well I walked with her along the street talking to her and then we entered a diner type area.  they only had ice cream that is all they served to the deceased.  I got the impression most of the people knew they were dead they wand ere just hanging out not sure what to do next.  I noticed all differant kinds of cloths and material.  I went farther into the back and then some big men came at me and I think they could tell I was differant they started asking me questions and started getting mad at me.  They picked me up and were going to do somethings to me but I pushed mainly with my mind.  I pushed outside and one man still had me in his grasp.  We started talking about GOD and he was saying he doesnt exist and I was saying he did and to prove it as long as I was praying he had to stay down.  Dont ask me why hehe.  Well he got up and then this women who I saw got up she was differant from the others.  that is my main question.  This women who was sitting there had more color not colors but deeper grey color.  Most of the others were like a paste transparent type while she was like filled in solid.  When she thought there was no god she was very upset and she started charging at me and I thought about running but knew I couldnt get away.  I turned and put my hand up told her to stop.

Upon reflection I thought that this was kinda of a waiting place like purgatory.  They are all waiting for god or something or someone to come get them.  They seem angry about being dead.  The one women though was differant.  I was wondering if most of those people were my thought forms or hers and she was the only one who was there.
