your suggestions on these metamusic series

It might be interesting to look at the frequencies of the left & right sides of the signals from these things to see if there is much of a difference between the various products. Does anyone know about this sort of thing and how to interpret the data? A program like Cool Edit 2000 or Cool Edit Pro might have the ability to look into the binaurals, but I don't know the first thing about interpreting the results.

Kelly Howell's stuff has been around for a few years. It is supposed to be very effective. I don't know. Does anyone here respond unusually well to binaurals?

Maybe we can have a few people test different products and report back on their effectiveness. It is possible that people who make binaurals might be willing to give us a discount in exchange for our group being willing to say that their products actually work.

I'm with you on this topic.  In fact I started a topic called Gateway vs Ultra Meditation vs Centrepoint to find out what other peoples recommendations were/ are.  I think all of us (especially newbies like me) are looking for the "Holy Grail" of tools, cds, tapes, devices to make having an OOBE a quick and easy process.

Unfortunately I don't think its that easy for most of us.  I,  lke you have a collection of "mind materials" that is supposed to facilitate having that elusive OOBE.  I've been fortunate in having a friend who has shared these with me but unfortunately I have not achieved my goal (conscious OOBE) yet.

1) Gateway Series:  
I've had encouraging results from the Wave 1 CD. I use these primarily at night before sleeping or after 4-6 hrs of sleep. I find them helpful in achieving Focus 10 (Mind Awake - Body Asleep).  I also like the Wave 2 CD - 1st two tracks. I've been to Focus 12 a few times as well. Was able to have a very brief OOBE experience.  I also like the TMI Transcendence tape.  I like the "swirling" pink noise affect.

2)  Ultra Meditation I-VI
---Just started using these.  I use mostly during the afternoon at work.  Excellent production on the CDs.  I like every CD except the fourth (Cetacean Mind link).  The dolphin "chatter" grates on my nerves.  They should be able to help you get into the Delta State.  Still experimenting.  Details to follow.

3)  Holosync (Centrepoint)
---Just started using these.  I use mostly during the morning at work.  Excellent production on the CDs.   They should be able to help you get into the Delta State.  .  I just started with DIVE and will move onto Immersion in the next couple of weeks.  Still experimenting.  Details to follow

4)  BW Geneerator
---Just started playing with this as well.  Haven't compared their stuff against Gateway.  I've been recommended to try Deep Mind IV and Chakra5 (for opening the Chakras).  I've also heard there are some comparable TMI Focus levels beats that are done with BWGen.

5)  Friday Harbor Tapes (Bruce Moen)
---my tapes are arriving in a couple of weeks.  I'll comment accordingly once I try them for awhile

I am continuing to experiment and monitoring my results.    I would love to have a place where we could rate, give feedback on this "stuff".  This would  help others so that they know where and how they should spend their $$$ to help them achieve that elusive OOBE.

Brain Sync
Flightwaves
Dr Jeffrey Thompson etc.

You see, I'm a sceptic when it comes to this meta music stuff, because there are a lot of fakes out there in the new agers field (or any field for that matter). Thats why I'm asking you, the people I trust the most on these topics, for your opinions.
