Third or fourth time having vibrations today. i wanted to ignore the sensations so bad but this wooshing sound would get so loud it was unbearable. i was just too scared

does anyone have stories of vibrations and overcoming their fears? Next time i get them ive decided im going to let them take me wherever.

What do your vibrations feel/sound like? What sensations do you experience?

If you have any information related to the vibes please do post!

I experienced them once. The closest thing I could compare it with is a star going supernova. I thought I was going to implode on myself. It was the most intense sensation I've ever experienced. I don't remember hearing anything, I just felt so charged with energy that I would shatter into subatomic particles.

It's not easy to relax when you feel like your body is going to spontaneously combust ... At least you have more experience, though. I'm sure that figures into it largely.

I didnt even want the sonsabitches! basically whenever i go to sleep and im not actually physically tired i become either lucid or wake up to intense vibrations.

The sound i was hearing was the same high pitched sound i hear all the time, just WAY louder and it seemed to be making a swooshing pattern, like if someone where to blow in your ear repeatedly. I know for sure that if i just roll with them i will end up somewhere, (like i said i remember flying out of my body and through my wall a couple times. i also heard voices in the other room even though i was home alone) its just so different to sit here and type it and actually BE there experiencing this stuff, haha ;)

dood, chill.  Its no biggy.  Sure its overwhelming, but its not as overwhelming after you just let yourself go.  Just treat it as a countdown and wait for it to end and see where you go.  Trust me you will laugh at yourself and how panicked your post sounds once you get used to it.  I dont even get vibes anymore and I basically reacted the same way the first time I had them...

Hmm.

A great example of overcoming fear was when I was "pre-OB". I was seeing, behind my eyes, the shape of a crazy evil man laughing. I got really scared and then got really annoyed with myself. Basically, I told myself "shut up and stop being a whimp". Immediately, the fear vanished and I went on and did my thing.

Quotedoes anyone have stories of vibrations and overcoming their fears?

The first several times (probably 10 or 11) I felt vibrations there was an extreme nervousness that came up too. I remember the first time I was so freaked out I did whatever I could to stop them. If feels like I'm plugged into a wall outlet (no pain though) and my heart feels like it's going to explode. But after experiencing it several times I slowly started to realize my heart is OK and I'm not going to die. Then finally, one day I had the vibes and exited my body. Vibrations and any other exiting sensations no longer freak me out.

They're really nothing to fear. Just relax and see where you go with them. Back when I didn't know that Astral Projection existed, I use to think I was being possessed!! (Oh, how stupid was I...) But no, I wasn't getting possessed,  it is impossible to get possessed.

They're really nothing to fear, they're completely harmless. I don't really know why you don't want them. =] When I get them I immediately think "Wooohoooooo! Time to float out!"

But to some, vibrations are irritating.

Just remember that they are harmless, and the next time you get them, try to float out of your window. Explore, fly around! ^_^ It's really fun.

Got them again twice, once a day or two ago and again today.

im pretty sure im ready to ride it out, but the thing that always gets me is the "whoosing" sound. Its almost like you relax and you go underwater. The sound literally envelops my body and i feel like im going to explode. quite crazy ;)

i cant wait to see where these things take me ;)

I had the vibrations once, i panicked and they went, never felt anything so intense. that was before i knew what they where.
i felt a second time 10 years later, i got exited and said "YES" under my breath, and they went.

that was 12 years ago, i so want them back. I've not once been able to project

still waiting for a third go....

Yeah, those sounds in the astral are sometimes freaky.  During my last projection, just as I had the vibrations... I started to hear this weird sound... as if someone was rubbing paper against the blanket I was on. It kind of seemed like my astral body going through it and making a noise as it did. It was strange since I don't ever recall hearing sounds when I go through objects.

Sometimes I hear voices, drumbeats, and even a saxophone! o.o;;

I stopped paying much attention to them, so now I don't even notice. ^.^

Well today i woke up, walked around a bit and decided to practice.

I got the vibes, and this time it went with it. this time they lasted only about what seemed like 5 seconds and were much less intense. I felt myself rising from my bed, but i kept my eyes closed. i knew that i went up and down that, probably about 7 ft up in the air, i could sense it.

Anyway after that I phased into several different places. One was my grandmas house AGAIN. dont know why. but this time i was outside and i was going down the sidewalk. I remember hearing my feet hit the ground as i walked it was so real.

After this scenario i found myself outside what i think was my childhood home. I remember relaxing myself  and just letting my emotions calm down. when i did this the environment became MUCH more stable and i was able to walk around slowly, literally one step at a time. as i loosened my focus i would just zip places extremely fast. I remember turning my back to the house and looking around. When i looked back it had totally warped somehow. I was amazed.

I then slipped into a dream where i thought i had woken up. I then actually woke up, amazed ;)

So for anyone who gets the vibrations, just stick with it and eventually you get over them.
