Whenever I AP or go OOB my experiences are always 3D, but as far as I can tell when I dream they seem 2D -- even the lucid dreams. Does any one else do this or are your dreams also 3D?
What do you mean by 2D? Like watching 3D stuff on TV or like side-scrolling drawings?
The closest thing to 2D dreams I've had that I can think of are top-down computer game like. Like the old zelda games or maps in modern computer games.
I've had a couple of cartoon dreams but they were like on tv - you can go round corners and tell whats foreground and background, look up and down etc.
2D? I'm also confused by this.
Personally, my dreams are as 3D as my physical life experiences are. Dreams, lucid dreams, astral projections... they're *ALL* exactly like living in this physical reality. Nothing different.
I don't believe I've ever had a 2D dream...
What exactly do you mean by this? How do you perceive the dream?
I guess the best way to describe it is the most of the dreams have been like watching TV or a big movie screen.
I guess the best way to describe it is like most of the dreams are like watching a big movie screen. One time I projected while dreaming and it was like moving into the screen. I ended up in a beautiful garden that was brilliantly colorful and very real. Some people started moving toward me and I work up.
Sounds like real life to me. :)
But your perception of the experience is your perception... can't argue with it. lol
As I said above, all of my dreams are exactly like my waking life.
