Experience #674 from July, 23 2012 called "Morphed astral body - Loosing awareness". I woke up in the morning with a desire to have an out-of-body experience. I have felt my dream life be very active in the last few days so I thought today would be a good time to use the recliner. I have not used it 2 days prior to today's attempt because my body was a bit sore, possibly cause by a long walk and the asana exercises.

I feel an increase level of natural awareness. It appears as if my consciousness is more conscious in the general sense. I am able to focus more deeply when I try and I feel more confident on my ability to stay aware. I think this could be happening because of the meditation after the pranayama two times per day is starting to elevate my natural awareness, or it could be that I simply feel more able to concentrate, I am not certain. It hasn't been long enough for me to say one way or the other. It seems that I am at the start of a new cycle. The cycles last between 2 to 3 months and then I find that I need to re-adjust. This could be purely psychological; maybe the real reason for the cycles is that I need to find a motivation to keep going forward with the practice. Either way things are going well for the moment because I feel confident that I can induce out-of-body experiences anytime in the mornings.

I relaxed by letting go of my body on every exhale. There was a gap in consciousness but was regained when I felt a mild vibration while in the recliner. I lifted my head to gain vision and I was able to see the ceiling. I thought to myself "I don't think I am going to be stuck to the recliner today" for no particular reason. I then stood up without difficulty. I turned around and attempted to go through the window, but the glass was particular difficult to penetrate. I felt very short so I concentrated on gaining height as I walked. I walked toward the living room because I heard my sister talking; she was sitting in the kitchen by herself. She then says to me: "Juan, you look different", at this point I focused my awareness on my body, even though I never looked down to see it. I could feel myself like a robot or sorts with or like wearing a wide costume. I ignored it and walked out the door.

When I woke up it turns out my sister was on the phone, maybe this is the reason why I saw her talking to herself in the experiences.

I flew to about 30 or 40 feet high. I let go of all control to see if I was drifted towards a particular direction. In the past I have noticed that forces gently push me in a direction with the intention to guide the experience. I have also noticed that the times that I recognize this gentle force and at the same time work with the force by stimulating the direction it takes me to, it I am able to have the most interesting experiences. Like a sail boat catching the wind, if the sailor recognizes the direction of the wind, he can then set the sail to glide him across the ocean in a very effective way. As this is happening, the force itself seems to change the visual scape essentially determining what the experience should be.

Today there was no such force; there was no discernible wind in the ocean. I glided down towards the roof of a house and remember an interesting previous experience of seen a being standing and looking at me from another nearby roof. It was an invisible being with a golden hooded robe. I looked around to see if I could see the being again, but was nowhere in sight. The sun quickly dropped from daytime to nighttime in about five seconds. Because I rather like daytime, I created a spotlight with my mind on top of the roof. At first it wasn't emanating much light, but then I focused on it and noticed a sustained electric zap coming out of one of my fingers appearing to be charging the spot light. Moments later the light was at full blast illuminating the surroundings making it look as if it was daytime. I turned into a lucid dream type experience where thoughts must have manifested themselves into the experience itself; it disoriented me causing me to nearly lose lucidity. I woke up.

Thoughts

I see how it is very easy to lose oneself in the realities of the Astral Realms. I think one should develop a very strong intention and purpose that is beneficial to the evolving self; otherwise it is very easy to lose grips on reality as I did today. Let this be a reminder to myself of what needs to be done.

Quotewhy didn't you go try looking in a mirror when you felt deformed

I didn't think about the mirror, it would have been interested to see it in the mirror.

Quotealso in your waking normal life do you ever feel the astral calling you to it like for a mission

I get a general sense of calling, that I should keep having out of body experiences to experience the unseen realities for a reason. I am not certain what this reason really is, but I feel there is an unconscious force helping me have the drive in physical reality.

Quoteif this is possible...at that point wouldn't it be a little easier getting out your body to answer the call since the astral wants you

Yes, it appears that it is easier. If you remember from previews experiences in the astral, there will sometimes be a force sliding me from my recliner as if saying "you're here, get up". After this i will find myself in a particular scenario. When i feel such forces the scenarios will usually be to help someone, maybe giving them an advice or simply implanting an idea in their mind. Something similar appears to have happened with the experience with your grandmother. I have thought about it further. When I said to myself "just let it all go", I think these thoughts where implanted psychically by the guide. The guide was already nearby waiting for the "connection" to be established. It appears that intention and purpose does have an effect in helping me realize my out of body condition, in other words it can help me trigger awareness as trance states are happening.

Quotewhy couldn't you see the phone that your sis was using instead of it making it seem like she talking to herself?

Maybe I didn't see the phone because I didn't focus my attention on trying to understand why she was talking to herself.

QuoteI never heard of a golden hooded figure...it could of been of good importance

I have always thought that this invisible being that I saw with the golden hooded robe is a future version of myself. Because of this past experience, I have asked my friend in Ecuador to make me a re-make of the golden hooded robe. The robe is now waiting shipment from Ecuador.

Quoteand this being you got a glimpse of was there more to it did you feel any vibes from it rather good or bad

The vibes I felt where neutral.

Thank you for sharing Jettins. I really like the fact that you are questioning your journey's after your successful sessions. This is what helps us to learn more about our own personal journeys and why we are being led to these destinations. Immediately after I have a successful session, I make up questions based on said session. I look back at my Journals periodically to see if the questions have been answered. Unfortunately with me there is no yes or no true or false answers, my answers always come in the form of further quests and puzzles.
