How many of you have made it to focus 4 (Franks model)?  Is it rare to do so?

Thanks

Many authors have developed hierarchies and scales to ennumerate the planes , dimensions or realms .

Edit : opinion retracted

My peers and  I have gone beyond what Robert Monroe and Franz Bardon did . We project regularly at will  in circle . I have also met many globally online who are capable of doing this instinctively .  I feel all humans can attain these levels with energy body development , routine meditation and practice in projection .

The Highest Plane is variable according to ability and experience.Franz Bardon was not able to cross the abyss that is the last he wrote about before his death .Robert Monroe died before he got to the universal mind but his institute continues to map beyond that level .The highest I have read about is the 16th dimension but I am not sure if I  agree with that labeling yet. I feel that each generation is able to go beyond the constraints of previous generations because each generation is born at a slightly higher vibration and thus capable of much more .

Monroe Institute does not give away these materials they are a business and they charge and ask students to withhold information from public consumption .

The realms themselves are free .These are attainable by all humans . Other metaphysical authors  have also suggested scales or hierarchies ennumerating these as  planes , dimensions or focus levels etc.
Notably the Alice Bailey , Franz Bardon, Dr. Joshua Stone ,  James Hurtak and Jim & Jackie Lindsay.The names or numbers of the realms are not always agreed upon though .I have attempted to merge the labels myself .Here is a correspondence chart I  have authored with dimensions compared to Robert Monroe Focus Levels and dimensions by other authors ;

Frank didn't write much on what he called Focus 4 relative to the number of posts he has here. However, based on what I've read of his experiences/description there, I believe I've experienced this area of consciousness twice.

I have a hard time with labels, as did Frank and many others. However within the physical, it is difficult to get away without using them in some form. Like Frank, I think the fewer, the better, but that is a personal opinion. For example, I've never heard of half of the 'level's Hagethuriel names above, but from the Monroe numbers she attributes to them, it would appear that from at least level 12 down seems to correspond to Frank's FoC 1-3. Its simply a matter of how many layers you want to sliced it in to.

When I joined years ago, I came looking for answers to experiences I was having, but had no idea what it was or how I was doing it. I had read a number of posts on this forum back then before coming to one from Frank. His was the only post that coincided with experiences I had. As I read more of his posts and his experiences, I came to realize that he and I were experiencing and concluding very similar things. For that reason alone, similar, unrelated personal experiences, I find a lot of of what Frank wrote/thought resonates with me as well. I do not say that what he wrote was the "truth" because I have found that "truth" is a relative term.

I think a lot of times, when dealing with this or anything else, the more you read about it, the more your perception becomes colored and clouded. Sometimes I think its best to go and experience and not worry about what its called or how to do it. Simply do it and experience it for what it is.
Reality is what you perceive it to be.

I've read Dion Fortune's "The Mystical Qabala" too - I won't regurgitate it though.

I experienced something that might be labeled F4 in Frank's model, but it was too weird to put a name on it. I'll call it "The Crazy Kickin' Spot of the Great Beyond" because that's at the top my list of names and sounds cool.

Would you mind relating your F4 experiences Novice?

I read this book a long time ago too! I'd be interesting to know what books other people read on their path to their current location (I'd bet most have read the same core of books :)).

Stookie

I've read hundreds of books on occult practices, rituals, magick, meditation, consciousness, philosophies & religions, etc... (notice I stay out of the Magic forum)

While you can learn a lot and deepen what you already know, nothing seems as comprehensive, practical, scientific, and down-to-earth as Monroe and Frank's methods.

Thank you for you great replies.

Gandalf

I had one experience which may have been F4 related.

I often have experiences which involve a golden light, something akin to a sunset like effect.

In this instance found myself being drawn towards this golden light, but as I was drawing towards it, some part of me started to resist, most likely as a fear reaction. This resistance manifested in a pulling effect that attempted to drag me back from the golden light and back to my original suroundings. At the same time, the golden light exerted an equal pull and for a long while I was stuck in the middle with both forces trying to tug me in their respective directions.

Eventially the side trying to pull me back won over and I returned to my original location and from there to F1.

I wasnt sure what to make of this experience but I later related it to Frank and he was of the opinion that this was an objective interpretation of me partially widening my awareness to F4 but then pulling back due to fear. The golden light was actually me, but me in my F4 state and I objectively interpreted this as some kind of external force.

This is quite possible. I don't know. I do remember the fear was that of a dramatically altered state of consciousness and one that I didnt feel ready for at that moment, so it may well have been some kind of F4 experience, or more accurately, a brush with the borders of F4.
