Alrighty I'm aware that when you OBE and AP you keep all your current memory's of the physical world, is it still because your cord is still connected that lets your memory's remain?

The question is... After death do you think you will keep your memory's of the physical world??? DISCUSS!  :skull:

Yes.

After reading Robert Bruce's theories, and many accounts of near-death experiences, as well as stories of people who got in touch with dead relatives, I believe we keep all our memories in the astral.

Science still doesn't know where exactly memories are stored in our physical brain -- even though some things hint at memory-related mechanisms, there's also many clues that would indicate that memories like ours are not a physical thing! This is something Robert Bruce discussed in an article... some people apparently have no brain, they just have a millimeter of brain tissue attached to the tip of their spine, and the rest of their head is water. Yet, these people not only have memories, they have a normal IQ and a perfectly normal life.

I wonder where memory is stored... Perhaps in ectoplasm?

Interesting i was talking to a friend who got me started into APing
his theory is that as ur made of a soul and a physical body there
should be some sort of a mirror effect for ur brain matter and ur soul eg: memory's, emotions

sounds rather legible to me.. :death:

The articles regarding people having no brain are false, and if you care to link to one you will find vagaries and no references to any medical journals or literature.
Some people do have their brain distributed along the insides of their skull, but it is more than a millimetre worth, accounting for the same brain mass the rest of us have, just placed differently.

Do a search on this and you'll find a thread on this from not long ago.

If people could live with no brain, I wonder why even miniscule brain damage can have such a serious effect – and why brain dead people don't move any more.

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

I dont agree with the fact that when I project I remember everything.  I honestly feel like I have a seperate mind when I OBE.  I recognise things I normally wouldnt have and when I wake up I am like "how did I know that person>?>>"  and also I have OBE moments where I dont know what to do or dont remember a person, place, or thing and wake up slapping myself because its something so familiar to me.  I also feel like it is a new brain almost every OBE, something is different mentally every time.  My thoughts are different, my patterns of thought are different, my attitudes are different..... its all very complex.  Maybe its just me?

It's not.

maybe when you die its like waking up from a dream: you have to try very hard to remember everything...
