When the "vibrations" come my eyes usually start to twitch pretty wild causing me to open my eyes. I have read some people use eye pillows. Will the eye pillow prevent me from being able to use my "third eye" I have successfully only for a second saw my room while my eyes were technically closed. Will this still work if I have something over my eyes? Thanks in advance for any and all replies :)
I use an eye pillow everytime I Phase now. It doesn't hinder you one bit, if anything it helps me. At first I had a problem distinguishing lights from the physical and the astral. When I put on my pillow I immediately open my eyes just to show myself that there is no light getting to me. I usually have the rapid eye twitch just as I am in the final stages of Phasing.
Hopefully this helps you Stellina!
Are you using any binaurals to try to project?
Pillows should be no problem- the 'third eye' or clairvoyance has very little to do with the physical eyes.
I'm going to echo CFT

Why do Binaural Beats cause eye twitching? I myself use Isochronic Tones and sometimes Binaural Beats as background music when I phase. The rapid eye twitching comes when incredibly intense vibrations occur. Usually I don't get the intense vibrations as I did before, but once in awhile when they do occur it feels like my eyes are fluttering wildly. I also use my Eye Pillow because I do daytime sessions and have don't have curtains on any windows in our home.
Binaurals don't "cause" the eye twitches.
Just gotta stretch out your eyes a bit before you begin practicing.
Make sure they're one of the first things you relax during practice.
I have found that some frequencies in binaurals cause some random muscle twitches all over my body. Only the 'relaxing' ones, not the 'deep relaxing or trance' ones. I imagine this is similar to what epileptics suffer from the beats, because they strobe.
I asked if she's using binaurals (or any strobing-type sounds, I shouldn't have 'just' said binaurals) because I wasn't sure if the eye twitching was muscular in nature (like those awful tics we sometimes get) or it was REM-like- simple information gathering-not making statements, simply asking questions to tailor my reply.
I was doing some mediation earlier and my eyes were fine. Until i hit a certain level and I felt my mind/conscious go up a level then my eyeslids flickered like crazy.
I am not using anything right now just silence and deep thoughts. @Ryan I want to know more about stretching the eyes. You're saying that these tapes will help me stretch my eyes?
Also yesterday I was in my process for meditation and right around the time my eye started twitching the gray and black colors I usually see that swirl around turned into like the shape of a man. It was NOT a picture it was just the blackness/Gray shadow and the shape of a man walking over and over and a few different bright light flashes one bluish the other bright white what exactly am I seeing? Is this going to lead to images that are more clear?
Thanks all for all the responses. As always you're all fantastic! You guys are all so intriguing.
Stellina, that is exactly what the first images are like at the beginning of an OBE. Just stay with the visuals, but don't think to change or alter them just yet. Just passively observe, you will see they will take on their own life pretty fast. You also may experience a tremendous boost in vibrations. But, it is only short lived. Just stay the course and enjoy the Astral.
Happy Traveling!
The eye twitches have pretty much stopped or are very mild when I listen to Isochronic Tones and place something over my eyes! Thanks all for the input.

Got my Eye-Pillow today! Yay! I know what you mean by the eye twitching.. it's an eyelid twitching really.. my left eye does it all the time.. I think it is a thing to do with eye strain.. so Ryan's recommendation to stretch the eyelids and eyes is sound.. also maybe try to do eye exercises during the day.. like every 30 to 60 mins, look around you and focus on short, medium and long distance objects.. just for a couple of minutes each time.
Can't wait to try out my eye-pillow for meditation tonight!
Good luck light487! :-)
