When I was ill a few years ago, I actually had night after night of a REALLY loud and VERY frightening buzzing / vibrations, and It would scare me and I would wake up. I didn't know what it was, I assumed it was a nightmare, but after researching on the internet found out about how it is the by-product of an onset of an OBE.

so yesterday I read about how to do it, and I tried, but fell asleep. But then I woke up from a dream about 4am, and remembered that I want to do an OBE, so I tried again, and it happened!

I got the intense vibrations and pulsing.  Like a very high pitched squeek like a mouse, but pulsing, like a spacecraft. like a WOWWWOOOOOWWWWWWWWWOOOOWWW noise.  and It felt like someone was almost rocking me, I could feel like I was physically moving back and forth with the vibrations. I tried to move my astral body inside my physical body, and I tried to sit up, but I could feel my phsyical body restricting me.  I concentrated to ONLY move my astral body whilst keeping my physical body still, so that I DONT physically sit up. But I couldn't do it.  But then, I moved my leg and my leg got detached!

It felt like my leg from the knee downwards was pulled up by helium baloons. as light as air, and waving around ABOVE my physical leg.  But I tried to sit up and I felt like a kind of jolt back to my physical position every time I tried to move my astral position.

I think that if I tried I could have fully projected, but I got scared that I wouldn't know how to find my body when I'd finished, and that I'd freak out if I saw my own body laying there :( and woke up

I am going to try again tonight.

Any thoughts?

Awesome. I just imagine my hands floating/lifting up while laying still, which started to happen naturally like it's instinctual. Seeing yourself from above is really, really fascinating if you haven't done it. The feeling can't be explained, but when I'm OBEing and finding myself seeing myself it feels really peaceful. And "the real world" feels more real then real life.

really, I don't know if i'd find it scary or not :)
An OBE is about as scary as a normal dream you'd have.
Except you're conscious!

Just realize that nothing can hurt you... you can return to your body with nothing but a thought.
Any "scary" imagery you come up against is generally something from yourself and you should confront it head on.
