Next time you will have to say "I will astrally project and not wake myself!"

I'll have to give that a try, whenever I'm lucid again (hopefully I won't have to wait another 6 months, heh)

It works, most definitely[|)]... I've only projected twice, but both times were through a lucid dream, and trust me, you'll know when you've shifted from dream to OBE, hehe[;)]

I don't know why it doesn't work for me but everytime i've tried to project from a lucid dream, it failed...i'd get a bad replica of the vibrations and if i had an experience (of OOBEing)at all it was dreamlike.

OTOH i have had great lucid dreams!..

sigh...

It seems to me that if you are in a normal dream and become conscious and aware that you are in a dream then you are awake in the Astral. Why would you want to project into the Astral if you are already there?

The times I've projected from lucid dreams, I project into the RTZ, so it is quite a bit different.  Though both times were short, the second time I flew (floated, more-so) around my backyard, and had fun doing that.[:P] That's why I project from lucid dreams.

I am currently trying to project from a lucid dream. Each time I try though there's like this really loud exploding/pounding noise in my heart that physically hurts because it's so loud that I have to wake up...[:(] (Which is weird because I've never experienced anything like that during sleep)

I guess I just need to keep practicing...cause practice makes perfect and all that....[:P]

why don't you try to sleep again after waking up? it works for me... you just don't wake up like that, it takes time.

I will wake up pretty suddenly. I'm one of those people that once you wake up, you are awake and can't go back to sleep though.

Last night, for the first time since Summer I became fully lucid... I said to myself "I Will Astrally Project" a couple times, and do you know what I did? I MOVED MY PHYSICAL LEG AND WOKE UP!!![}:)][xx(][}:)][xx(][}:)] .....I'm in a good mood, I mean I've had a good day and all, but not a good night last night, because of that..... Yeah I went back to sleep, but I wasn't lucid anymore... I just had some weird dream about a man coming on to my friend and morphing in to a bird/chewbaca-type of thing.....(<--NOT astral or lucid)

Sorry about that rant, I had to vent some of my frustrations....::mutters:: "The first time since Summer"
