Aren't astral sounds great!  Just a side effect of projecting, I suppose...I really haven't been able to trace where the sounds stem from though...probably just to distract you.  Wait, till you hear the symphony of screams....


But...but...goblins.....are real...

Well what can I say, Laugh , that would have to be one of the best written discriptions of a sound of heard for a long time. I've have not projected as yet ,and as for the sound," it might read funny ,but I dont think I'd like to hear it"

I had another projection last night with weird sounds
It was the most confused scary projection Ive had
(I had a very pleasent one earlier today though so all is well)

Anyway..I started to get vibes.. But I lost consciousness as they increased
I opened my eyes and thought crap I messed up...
Then I started to hear this horrible screetching noise (like someone draggin a pitchfork across a chalkboard)  and I thought it was coming from outside my window
So I sat up to look out of it..and the second I was sitting up
I opened my eyes and realized I was laying down
So I sat up again to look out the blinds and just as I sat up
Again I opened my eyes and realized I was laying down
This kind of freaked me out..but I was determined to figure out what it was
so I went through this sitting up and opening my eyes laying down again about 3 more times
Finally I was laying there starting to get really scared
and I went
Oh my god! Im not in my body at all
And I looked around and realized ...well I wasnt
then I returned and sat up
but this time I was sitting up for real =)

It was the strangest obe ever
especially since It was so clear and real (other than the noise) that I didnt even realize what was happening..
usually if i just wake up in obe like that I realize it right away by the weird illumination everything gives off or the weird 360 vision i seem to get
but..it didnt really happen that way this time

I think maybe I was just loosing consciousness and waking up in seperate projections
that were all like 2 seconds long

it felt very chopped up

Greetings Grenade
        Your post reminds me of conversation I had with a friend a couple of weeks ago, not having projected myself as yet, she was explaining how real and clear an OBE can appear, a few days before our conversation she and her husband had started dream journal's, on the first night she had an excellent dream,woke up, turned on the bedside lamp, wrote the dream in the journal and then went back to sleep. In the morning upon waking she  picked up the journal,  telling her husband of the excelent dream, opened the journal and there was nothing there.
          I've got to say that since becoming interested in astral projection about 6 mth's ago,  i'm amazed by the number of people that i know that have projected and some that still do.
          Any how,must run ,

         I'm typing thinking Purple berries .....Purple berries.... now Purple ..ahaa .Berries.. alright,     now Purple berries....".Nup",I dont get it

the other night I was trying to have an OBE and as I reached the vibrational state, something strange happened.  I started to hear something ...I can only describe it as an 80 year old woman who has been smoking for like 40 years, inhaling helium and yelling  eee hyaahhh
or something like that...
it was weird it kept repeating...sounding much like what youd imagine a goblin would sound like if they were real... ahaha  Anyway at this point it kind of got in the way of me projecting.. I became aware of the noise and my mind slipped out of the trance, and i was fullly consious, but with the vibrations and my physical body still in a pretty good trance.. So I did have about 15 seconds to observe the noise before i fully slipped out of the trance.  I was startled by it at first..then I started to find it kind of funny because of sounded ...i dont know....... like a small creature trying to frighten a big one.. like a kid jumping around growling ..if that makes sense...
in any case
i didnt project
and i was angry because i just started to seperate
stupid smoking grandma gobling noises !!!
