My mother's mother (deceased) saved my mother's life one day.

I can't remember where I was, but I was about 13 years old. I'd never met my grandmother, as she died about 6 years before I was born. So anyways, my mother suffers from sleep apnea. One morning, she was sleeping, and unknowingly stopped breathing. She told me that she heard her mother's voice screaming, "Mary! Mary!". Then, she woke up and her throat was closed very tightly. She gasped for air for a few minutes, and then was back to "normal".

What are your thoughts on this?

In this situation I'd be more likely to suggest that it was an emotional memory pattern of your grandmother that is a part of your mother.  So it's not that your grandma's ghost was actually there, but an imprint of her consciousness is in your mom.

Of course, it could have just been her own intuition/self yelling at her and she interpreted it as her mom.
be awesome.

I kinda think that that's what ghosts are- imprints of consciousness on either living people or highly charged matrixes.
