I am the owner of a lonely heart, does that count?

No heart trouble here, but I seem to remember reading in Robert Monroe's book that you shouldn't do this if you have a pace maker!?  Anyway, I guess the worst that could happen would be "having the ultimate OBE"! [:)]

If your concern is if APing is safe if you have heart problems then I do not think you should worry. If you feel a rapid heart beat while trying to project it is most likely your heart chakra and not your actual heart.

ya its most likely the heart chakra, iv had very rapid heart beatings when i AP. i dont believe Aping actually effects the heart at all either. it might seem like it, its just like the vibes you get when APing to. so yeah i think it safe to AP even if you do have hart probs.

Oh no, I'm not worried about the effect of AP'ing on the heart, I used to AP a lot and there were no bad effects.

I had a bit of an 'episode' with the pump yesterday. Oddly enough I wasn't afraid....I know I'm not afraid of death yet I thought when the moment comes I'd freak. Anyway, Everyone skips a beat now and then, yesterday I skipped about 5 beats. After about a second I felt myself starting to AP and did my best to stop it. My heart did a huge THUMP and the exit stopped.

Yes I know, I considered going to the doctor for that one, but with a lack of insurance I think I'll just lay off the salty stuff instead.

Anyway, that's what made me wonder, what do people that AP feel when their heart gives THEM trouble....

No, lonely hearts don't count [;)]

Does anyone here have heart trouble and practice AP'ing?
