One night in my teens I was sleeping next to my GF and I found myself paralyzed in my bed. I felt the "intruder"...and an immense feeling of being naked and vulnerable. Its a pretty nasty feeling Im sure many of you have experienced it. Next thing I know I feel myself float and glide off of my bed at an awkward angle.... moving to the right and downward simultaneously all of a sudden I hit the ground and snap back in my body and wake up in severe panic. As soon as I snapped back I notice the light switch on in my room! My GF wakes up in terror as well. She tells me there was something in the room and shes terrified. We both remember shutting off the light before going to sleep that night but I cant be 100%.. I will never know exactly what happened that night in regards to the light switch. But I DO remember being absolutely convinced at the time that the light switch was off. It was nearly 15 years ago so my memory has faded considerably. But I would like to know if anyone else had electronic occurrences like this before? I.E. things switching on or off, not limited to lights but also toys, appliances etc.

When i was a kid my uncle had a house that was haunted. The ghosts were two small children, boy and girl. Tv would turn on and off, radios, light flickers, toy cars would move, hear pitter patter upstairs as the kids would be running an playing. He knew it as well and so did the rest of the family. His kids would play with the ghosts in their dreams which i think were actual full blown ap's though. As far as your experience, never had one quite like that. Had a childhood friend who had plenty though including things being snatched off of walls and tossed at him. It was validated later on who/what was doing it too so I'd say what you experienced was real for sure.

The only thing I can validate was I kinda felt the same naked and vulnerable feeling when I AP'd. I too came out my body, moved at a rightwards and downwards angel till i hit the floor and snapped back into bed.

The couple times I AP'd and felt this fear, I decided to take them as a "test" which was basically getting me to face the little fear I had about AP and such. The last time i AP'd I was only scared for a second and said "its just a test." Thats all I got.

I get that vulnerable feeling still sometimes too as if there are a thousand eyes all just creepily watching me lol. In time I'm sure I'll progress past it.
