What exactly happened?

Hello everyone, I've been researching astral projection on and off for around 2 years now but I'm still new to this topic. I've read most of the phasing tutorials on the forum and I've been trying it for quite a while, I've gotten really close. Infact, I can reach the vibrational state with little effort now. Yesterday I did everything I learned but I just couldn't get passed the vibrational state so I just gave up and my intentions went from trying to reach the NPR to just falling asleep, so I closed my eyes and about 20 minutes later I started feeling my body vibrating again, but I had already given up on trying to reach the NPR so I just passively observed it. I eventually blacked out, and when I regained conciousness everything was so clear, and vivid. I randomly "woke up" to using my phone except no matter how much I played with it, it never turned on. But I knew I was in a different reality at the time, I got excited and woke up after about 15 seconds. What exactly did I experience?

 "What exactly happened?"

You projected! Congratulations!  :-)

You were successful once you released the pressure you put upon your self to project. Your intent was still there, so you were rewarded for your effort. It sounds like you "clicked out" and when you clicked back in, you found yourself there.

  Here's to many more!  :-)

You set your intent and came aware in a LD. Like Lion says, it qualifies for a 'clickout' re-integration, but I still like to hear that you heard the 'click'...that's always cool to get! Sometimes it's quiet, sometimes you get the 'click'...

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Welcome to the Pulse.
You found the intent and stayed passive, this left the process to do its thing naturally.
Well done.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Thanks guys  :-D it was definitely a lot more different than I expected it to be. Do you guys have any tips on how I can increase my time in the NPR?

Try to lose the expectations. ALLOW it to be as it is and enjoy it while you are there.

To increase the time spent there you need to anchor yourself to the scenario. You do this by engaging your senses. Try to touch something, hear something, taste something, smell something. Engaging the tactile is a great way to prolong your NP visits. Also, look around, see what you can see. Once you see something, go explore it.

I can personally attest to this.

One of my more recent projections, I found myself in my parents kitchen... I began to feel the familiar sense of waking up, so I touched the wall (which was gritty in texture) and dragged my hand along it.  All the while feeling the sensations of the texture reeling in my mind.  It's the EXACT same touch sense as you have physical.  Feel it... examine it in as much detail as you can.  Bring yourself entirely into that sense.

Even better is to engage as many of your senses as you can.  This will lock you there.  The end result of my wall touching exercise was that I staved off the waking up and scored myself an extra 4 - 5 minutes there until I woke so quickly, I didn't even have time to notice it happening.  LoL

AAAAAAAA

Did you black out, or pass out? If you blacked out, you had something inside of your body, my friend. If you meant "pass out", like, you just went to sleep, or whatever, then just ignore my reply.
