I've owned this book for the better part of two years, yet I've never really had a chance to sit down and read it.
It's been sitting in my living room for that time and I just found it a few minutes ago and glanced through it a bit.

The introduction he puts forth is almost word for word my descriptions of the non-physical, in that he relates how they're all simply the same kind of experience.  Great bit so far.

The rest of the book is a very keen history of astral projection all the way back from shamanistic times to modern day CIA usage of the art... the second part of the book is about the "how" to do it.  Very well written and he dispels a lot of the same myths which I try to dispel just in a more articulate manner.

I strongly suggest everyone give this a good read.  :)

I'm the same I had this book for ages before I started reading it properly recently, which is unusual for me.  I like it because he encourages you to choose your own technique based on your preferences and gives guidelines for what will make a successful astral projection ritual.  it'll be good as well for people who are interested in golden dawn and the like because he gives insights into their techniques that are related to ap.
