Questioner

Well,i have had  some pretty weird sleep patterns lately(due to some tests at school, which turned out i wasn't suposed to take it anyway) so i have had sometimes when i would have partial sleep-paralysis(i can only move small parts of my body.)

Anyways,2 times i have kind of half realized it was a dream.both times i would try something like flying, but no matter how hard i thought to myself to fly,i could never quite take off.Same with trying to run real fast(i was running away from somebody.)I would also try to leave my body, first time it happened a white light(which was kind of dim) came over me,but i made it go away cause it felt like my teeth were getting pulled out, like when the dentist uses novacane and pulls your teeth out.Second time it happened it went away after a second.Maybe its because i sometimes fear what my mind will create when i know its a dream, does anyone else have this sort of problem?

Yeah I have this too, sort of! I try to run but all I can do is walk. I try and strain to move my limbs but I just saunter along :)

I believe it can take awhile to sink into your mind that when you are asleep and the common physical laws dont apply.

I found that you can either be a) non-lucid b) lucid but not in control and c) lucid and in control.

I find I am usually in b most of the time. Instead of trying to fly- start small and try to hoover a foot or so off the ground.  Or (like me) cheat and grow yoursef a pair of wings  :-D
