Knife fight dream

This always happens! I couldn't go one day without having another violent dream!

I am at a gas station and a women walks out of a car all bloody. The male driver walks out and has a knife in his hand. Throws it, and it flies in my direction. For some reason I get super upset and call him out and say "what's your problem?" and I walk closer to him. He takes out another knife and charges me. I somehow manage to get a hockey stick and we go at it for about 5 minutes.

I don't understand why I keep having violent dreams. I am living in the now, I am forgetting about my past, yet still manage to always have violence in my dreams. I'm surprised I wasn't stabbed in this one and feel the knife go through me. So at least I got a break from that.

Everything's meaning comes out of the present moment. If your past seems to have a hold over you, which I'm assuming it does as you want to forget it, reevaluate the way you think about it in the now, because it's right now that you give the past meaning, you can change it when ever you're ready to.
