A bit of a poser this.
I'd be slight sleep paralysis combined with some separation sensations.

Do a search for sleep paralysis and vibrations on the forums and you'll find a wealth of information.

Yes!  In my opinion, you are a lucky person!  I've never had that experience, but I know the invaluable nature of it.  Go buy this book:  "Soul Traveler" by Albert Taylor.  My dad told me to read this book when I started questioning him about astral projection and lucid dreaming.  I didn't really know enough to call it either of the names i've just given it, but I knew enough for him to see the similarities between my experiences and knowledge and this particular book.  "Soul Traveler" mentions the type of experience you're talking about and I think you might really enjoy it.  You might be able to take advantage of the experience you're having!

Hi Mikey,

Welcome to the Astral Pulse forum! As has been said there is a wealth of information here. The search and advanced search links can be found at the top of the page. Also, there is a File Library section under the Resources tab that you may want to explore. One of the items you'll come across here is Robert Bruce's Treatise on OBE which you may want to read.

It does sound as though you get to the mind-awake/body-asleep state and the begin to experience some pre-obe sensations. If this comes about easily for you then you are well on your way. Just do a lot of reading. Everyone is slightly different when it come to obe and you'll want to read as much as you can.

Very best to you in your astral studies,

Hi,
I'm new to all of this, and not sure what happened to me fits in what forum, but I guess I'll share it here. Lately I been getting tired in the afternoon and would go take a nap. Everything seems normal, untill I "wake up", it seems like I'm up, but I get this sensation of being very sleepy, although I know I'm not. Then I'll hear this loud buzzing sound coming from all around me, and the sound some how forces me to close my eyes. When my eyes are close the sound seems to go away, and I can hear the tv in the background (i watch tv to go to sleep) and I can hear my mom talking to her friend in the background. So I open my eyes (this time the sound is gone),I'll try to move,  but I cant seem to move. Like somethign is holding me down, then after a few minutes i'll be able to move again.
This isnt the first time this has happened to me, but this is the only time that i actually remember and can recall every detail back. Can someone tell me what this means? Am I going crazy in the head, or is it something else.
