well last night i had this dream where i was lucid.. for a very long time i must say, probably the longest i ever have been in a dream. i was in a middle school near my house & then i suddenly thought, "hey, im dreaming!" and i was like wow.. dont lose this, this is great! and i remembered something another site had told me, was to say "lucidity increase!" so that it would be more real, & i would be more concious.

& it sort of seemed to help, because things got a little more clear. i was trying to prove to everyone that it was a dream, but i couldnt do anything out of the ordinary.. i couldnt fly or do anything special this time. maybe it was because the whole place seemed so real to me? im not sure.. but any tips on how to make impossible things like that happen would be greatly appreciated.. i just cant figure out how to make lucidity and impossible things happen at the same time.

Controlling the different aspects of a dream takes just a little bit of control.  You have to focus on what you want.  You already know that you are dreaming, now you just have to convince yourself that you can do anything in a dream.

As far as trying to convince everyone that it's a dream.  It has been my experience that even if you can do all kinds of weird things dream characters rarely in not never will believe that it is a dream.  You kinda have to remember that even though its a dream for you its their reality.

hmm yeah, that seems to be the hardest part for me O_o is just focusing, because i can be lucid for a little while, but then i lose it again, but then it will come back for a little while but wont be a very strong sense of being lucid, but its there. i duno, kind of hard to explain

how do you stay lucid for a whole dream without losing your lucidity?

Staying calm helps a lot.  It's easy to get worked up when your awareness kicks in.  More so if things start changing at a rapid pace.  You have to get used to being in that state really.  The issuing yourself commands helps a bunch, and since you had some success with that I would stick with it.  Being aware is the hardest step.  Staying there is a matter of willpower.
