Nick, you are a man, me too. We are not gay ( i think that you are not),but you deserve a kiss form me, because that site is very interesting!

Maybe with flying dreams (lucid dreams) i will be able to have obes in the future.
I love you!

Yeah.  Lately I'm having weird flying "assignments" to go THROUGH things; for example the other night, in order to evade notice by the robed elders or something in a giant gold hall or building of some kind, like a huge gold shopping mall with no stores, I had to fly up through a side seam of the large, gilded, domed roof, which, when attempted at a particular angle or at a particular place, was the only way to exit the building.  I think I flew into it by accident, though I did meet someone (faceless, how annoying) I know in the building.  When I got the angle right, I flew away as fast as could be (and there were a lot of trees surrounding it) so I didn't see it from outside.

I wound up flying so fast I went from day to night (maybe because I'm overseas?) to my old childhood home, where my sister was on the computer (the house was sold ages ago; she lives in another city now)... the house was dark and appeared in ruins... I tried to knock on the walls, which had no roof, to get her to pay attention and come join me, but she didn't want to.

Why is it that when your in a lucid dream on in astral, that you feel so horny? lol

I'm curious, serious question?

Even thought I haven't experiences real sex and not had a lucid dream, astral and OBE.

Nick

Kazbadan, glad you like the website, no kiss though please, (and my wife would get mad). [;)]

Folks, lets try and keep this thread focused on flying in a lucid dream, (if possible). [:)]

Hi everyone,

I'm Frank (hypnotist) on Astal Pulse:

Everyone's been talking about flying dreams and enjoying it.  I can show you how to achieve a Lucid Dream State with Hypnosis which takes you deeper then meditation.

Hypnosis is Lucid Dreaming where you know your Conscious but actually your Conscious and Sub-Conscious mind are equal at that level.

I do group hypnosis on line on the computer, if your interested in trying it out you can go to Paltalk in JCcorvetts chat room where I'll do the session.

Once in that State you will be given a KEYWORD so you can use it and go back to that same deep level again on your own in seconds just by thinking the word in your mind.

If anyone in this group once to try it please contact me or JCcorvett  on Astal Pulse or my Instant messengers aol. Yahoo. MSN. Or my e-mail address hypnotist41@aol.com.

I hope this will help anyone interested.

Sincerely,
Frank (hypnotist)

Hi Frank, I'm up for it. Please be aware that I'm new to all this, I have not had an obe, astral or lucid dream via meditation.

Do you think your hypnosis method will reach me to that stage easier and quicker?

I learned this technique a long time ago, and I thought I'd share it with you.

To have a flying dream (Not necessarily a lucid dream, but it can be), do this: Think about flying as much as possible right before going to sleep. Think about every way of flying possible; flying in an airplane, hang glider, floating, levitating, getting beamed up by a UFO, flapping your wings, holding onto a balloon, flying in a hot-air balloon, getting picked up by a bird, fill your head with as many things as possible.

Keep doing this until you are on the fringe of waking and sleep. You'll have a very good chance of having a flying dream. If it doesn't work the first time, try the next night. Eventually you'll get it. :)

Good luck and happy dreaming!

This works very well. Also try keeping a good imagination throughout the day. I have read having a healthy imagination increases the chance of lucidity in dreams.

Hi All,
I have had one or two quite intense flying dreams in the past, they were quite abstract but I could sense the motion, speed, acceleration etc.

Just recently I have had lot's of dreams about airplanes, flying in airplanes and airplane crashes, my first interpretation of this was that it was an ill omen and that I shouldn't get travelling by plane for a while!

But something happened in a dream just two nights ago that made me think about how carefully I should interpret my dreams.

Before going to sleep I had been doing some light meditation and some OBE affirmations (I have Oobe'd a handful of times before and have been wanting to try to do it again.)

That night I remember dreaming many times about trying to fly in large aircraft but I did not seem to have much success, near the end of the dream though I felt a presence in the dream, this felt like a higher part of myself or a different aspect of myself or maybe even some kind of archetypal figure.

This presence had taken me to a hill that I was very familiar with, and they had provided me with a hanglider! I made my way down the hill and remembered leaving the ground very briefly, it was quite an exhilarating feeling leaving the ground as I had become quite frustrated at not being able to fly beforehand.

The dream didn't lead to an Oobe though and although it was very vivid I wouldn't class it as a lucid dream either.

Thanks for listening

Nice post! I had a nice dream in wich i was, not in a hill like you, but in grass plains. I started to run and giving sequencial jumps (bigger and bigger) and then, in the last one, a started to fly .

It was not a perfect fly, it was near the ground (50m) but it was very beautifull and amazing!

In the last nights, my insomnias were bigger than norma and i dont remember my dreams because i am very tired (it´s very rare for me to forget dreams...very rare indeed).

I love you!

Nick

Just to relate last night's dream, it was an intense flying dream! This was the first one in a while, and I found myself flying over buildings in a city at night. Different colored lights were coming from the city below, and also lights emanated from many of the big skyscrapers that I was flying over and around. It was fun!

Also, I did become lucid and was directing my flight. In the dream, I reminded myself that I was not in my physical body and that the rules of gravity didn't apply. No superman music this time, just fun flying over and through this cityscaped realm. I hope it happens again soon!

Great idea! [:D] My wife and I really liked Spiderman 2, and the way he zoomed around that city looked like a lot of fun. I'll have to bring that to mind in the next flying dream!

Yes I just watched Spiderman 2 today. I love the way he flies around and I can't wait have a Lucid dream one day and I will defintely Fly.

Rakon

Hey, Spiderman is my favorite superhero. Back when I was younger, I used to daydream about being spiderman only so that I could swing like him.

And I already had a lucid dream in which I was Spiderman. It happened about 2 months ago. It was awesome! I enjoyed the way I went up and down. I enjoyed the wind! I enjoyed everything!! You all should try it.

I think I could count that LD into my 3 most pleasant experiences.
I'm planning on living forever...
So far so good!

wow! that's wicked! Were you wearing the spiderman outfit?

Damn! I can't wait to have my 1st lucid dream. Is it really what people say about them?

Rakon

No, I didn't have the spiderman outfit. But it didn't really matter. All that mattered is that I could finally swing! It was like a dream come true!
Except for the fact that it was a dream... [:D]

And yes, lucid dreams can be really amazing. I hope you will succeed soon!

Now that is brilliant! What other cool things have you done? I want to drive a Formula 1 car! :)

Rakon

Well, there was one time when I was playing football and I suddenly became lucid.  I started jumping around very high. When the ball was led by the opposed team on the opposite side of the field, I would just jump right there and score. And then my team started cheering. I may not sound very interesting but I was having a lot of fun.

And I like to make a Star Wars scenario where I am a Jedi and I am fighting aginst Siths. I usually use a green double light saber. I jump high and I use lightning and force push and pull and speed and everything. Man, those SW experiences are really exciting!

LOL that's cool! How long did it take you to have your first lucid dream? How long did you practise?

Rakon

My first lucid dream was spontaneous. It happened when I was 7. After I read about it on the internet later when I was 14. I was very enthusiastic and I succeeded the very same day. I had a WILD, in fact.

I was expecting to have a lucid dream again next day, but I didn't have it. So I started doing reality checks and 8 days later, I succeeded again.

i get flying dreams alot! usually, though, i fly with my arms too my side and i imagine jet propusion comming from my feet lol. its cool because i accelerate so fast and it feels so real. its my absolute favorite thing to do while dreaming. i dont think ive ever done it superman style. il have to try that next time

seraphis

i had my first proper lucid flying dream today!!! [:D] in normal dreams i often fly around and everything, but up to now, when i knew i was dreaming, i sort of thought i had to imagine how the landscape looked while flying - i didn't suceed, which either resulted in blankness below me, or not being able to fly, or the end of the lucid dream. but i recently realized that i'm simply to focused on the stuff that's near (shortsighted) and therefore yesterday made a point of NOT daydreaming, but instead watching everything i could see in the distance - trees, clouds, mountains. and guess what? as soon as i realized i was lucid (forgot the beginning of the dream and how i realized) i just went outside and made a sort of jump/flying to the neighbour's garden. looked pretty realistic and sharp, so i tried flying upwards, and it was just PERFECT! the houses just kept getting smaller and smaller, but they were clear and real-looking!! [:P] i didn't feel any other flying-sensations as far as i can remember, but my landing sensations were extremely strong and vivid. for some reason i didn't land sensibly, but when i decided that i wanted to go down, i just stopped flying where i was and dropped to the ground from there - often 10 meters etc.! have you ever jumped from the diving platform? you know how your stomach goes all the way up? it's a pretty strange and sort of disturbing feeling, but in a weird way enjoyable. at least i enjoy it from 3 meters up, but i usually regretted dropping from so high in the dream when the feeling didn't go away and only kept getting stronger [;)] but try it!
