Sometimes I'm aware of dancing at the edge of sleep, that moment before I fall into darkness... but by the time I have time to think about it, my thoughts bring me back to the surface and I'm awake again.

Is there a particular question you had Lateralus897??  If so, let us know.  I have been studying WILD,DILD quite a bit in the last few years...and I know exactly what you were saying in your post.

I have some info that is VERY helpful if you want to experience more LDs...it's quite simple.  I found it on a website and although it is common sense, like I said, it's very helpful and efective.

I will post the website soon (you may have already seen it?)

Yea, if you could give me that website, sounds like it could help me out. My only real question was if I was doing it right. I just remember being borderline then blacking out. But the thing is, I could've dreamt the entire thing, because lately my dreams have been very vivid and realistic (energy work). But right now the only techniques I use involve "watching" myself fall asleep and into a dream, but with no success yet.

Thats happened a couple times to me.... Dont worry.... Its all about staying conscious and having a "remote observer" attitude on everything.... You know you are having a WILD, when you feel yourself on your bed one moment, and the next moment youre in la la land.... At least thats how it is for me....

Body awareness is key.  If you know where your actual body is at one moment, and the next moment you are dreaming (no more body) then that is a WILD.  If you "wake-up" (but are still dreaming or in between) and can't locate your body 100% and then go back to dreaming, that is not a WILD.  It's a moment of lucidity near the threshold of being awake.  Like a fish that comes up near the surface of the water and looks at the sky.  A WILD would be a fish that jumps clear and then splashes back in. odd little metaphor

Last night, I did all my trance and projection attempts as usual. Then I usually switch to trying a WILD. No success yet, but last night i dozed off. And then, i know i woke up quite a few times, but i'm not sure about this one. I remember waking up still half asleep trying a WILD and feeling sensations. I actually remember fear in my mind and i had to keep shutting out all the negative images that came to mind. But anyways i remember falling into the dreamstate, but either i lost the transition, or I was actually dreaming that i was trying to induce a WILD, because the memory I have of it seems like a vivid dream memory. I would just like to know if this is normal for WILD attempts, or if it was probably just all a dream.
