Realtime sight allways from groundlevel

For years I´ve had what R.Bruce describes as realtime sight.
Almost every evening when going to sleep i see other places just as crystal clear as I would have been watching them with my real eyes.
The thing that puzzles me is that I most frequently see things as if I were laying on the ground or from "groundlevel". Since there seems no way to control this sight I can only choose to watch or not.
But why this perspective?
Can it be that my sight is connected to feet/earth-exit in some way?
