Chakra Work

A technique I read about involves imagining yourself as being very small, and within your body (which is normal size). You can travel within your body, as with mobile body awareness, and enter into a chakra. From within a chakra you can examine and manipulate it. Detail can be increased by shrinking yourself down further.

I am looking for anyone who might know what it is that I'm doing.  I am able to instantly draw energy (I think...) through the top of my head down through my entire body.  It doesn't feel like primary center activity, no pulsing or throbbing, and when I break concentration it subsides very quickly.  It seems to be more one sided to begin with, left or right side of my head, but it soon covers the entire crown area.  It feels a lot like the feeling you get when you listen to uplifting music or when you release an energy blockage.  It gives me goose bumps all over and feels great.  Is this just a physical reflex or is it an energy body action?  If it's an energy body action, what is it doing?

Here's how I stimulate my chakras:

1.) I will take a giant brush (imaginary) and place each awareness hand on either side of it. The awareness hands will be open and straight, parallel to each other. I will place the tip of the brush against the chakra. I will move my left hand up and my right hand down. This will cause the brush to spin clockwise. When the handle reaches the base of my left hand and the tip of my right hand, I will reverse the direction. This is hard to explain. 2.) I will also take the index and middle fingers of each [awareness] hand and dig them into the chakra. I will imagine that the chakra is elastic, like a rubber band. I will pull both hands apart horizontally, feeling the elasticity pulling my fingers back together. I will then pull my hands apart vertically, feeling the same elastic force. I will continue alternating until the chakra is fully stimulated. This works very well for me, and it's the most effective way of stimulating the chakras that I have experimented with. I realize, though, that this may be subjective and I don't expect this to work for everyone else.

I use the following exercise to move energy up through the chakras:

I like to imagine the chakras as small balloons (about four inches in diameter) connected to each other. When I move energy from the base to the navel, I will imagine them both as airtight rubber sacks connected by a rubber tube. The base chakra (balloon) will be filled with energy, which I will imagine as either air, or a thicker substance. The navel chakra (balloon) will be completely empty. I will take one awareness hand and place it around the base chakra, and I'll grip the navel with my other awareness hand. I'll start to squeeze the base while releasing the navel. I'll usually feel a very strong flow of energy from one to the other. I will then proceed to the navel and solar plexus, then to the solar plexus and heart, etc. until I have reached the crown. I will then repeat this process over and over again. It works very well for me when my chakras have already been stimulated.

I hope this helps.

Hey!  I've been experimenting with causing pressure, the sort a straw exerts, to pull/suck (?) energy up and through my chakras.  I did it this morning and I got some really great results/stimulation.  I'll try your techs. and get back with you!  Thanks, Malcom.

Greetings!

For a long time I activated my major Chakra centres by meditating on them as spinning vortices of the appropriate colour, and expanding, and then raising energy up through each vortex sequentially. It works well providing you can "see" and "feel" the vortices and energy.

However - Roberts "NEW" I have found to be orders of magnitude better, even when just raising enery through the major centres. When combined with the Full NEW excercises, it is better again - I wouldn't do it any other way now. You don't have to be tranced or meditative either for NEW - pleasantly relaxed is good enough - I can find I can raise energy almost anywhere now

Take care,

Adrian.

Adrian,

"I activated my major Chakra centres by meditating on them as spinning vortices of the appropriate colour, and expanding, and then raising energy up through each vortex sequentially..."

Isn't this the same thing as focusing on them with your awareness and sweeping them with an awareness brush or the other NEW techniques? I mean, essentially, your awareness if focused on them and imagining movement, so that should stimulate the etheric energies, whether it's a brush imagined or sponge or spinning action, shouldn't it?

Hi everyone!  This is for Robert or anyone with advanced knowledge of deeper chakra development/work.  Does anyone have an specific techniques NOT mentioned in the N.E.W. system that cause a more direct stimulation of the charka sites and their overall development?  I'm making great progress with N.E.W., which in my opinion is amazing, but I'd like to start focusing on my primary centers, a bit more thoroughly.  So any suggestions, techs, etc. would be most welcome!  Thanks!
