You're simply giving youself a headache by concentrating too hard on one thing.

Before trying to open up the third eye, the brow chakra, you should really be going through the process of opening up all the chakras, as each chakra is fed energy by the one below it.

Don't look for any quick fix solutions here. They just won't work. Energy raising is a time and practice thing.

Look up info on this site relating to New Energy Ways. This will help you work with all the chakras, or search the web for chakra meditations.

You really do need to work with the chakras in a way that they are all balanced, otherwise you can screw up your energy body which can result in physical illnesses.

Lately I have been trying to awaken my third eye (For the past month) And this afternoon I was sitting and talking with a friend, and when she got up to go to the bathroom I started to focus on it. A few minutes later I got this intense headache around my eyebrows. What could possibly be happening? I asked this question somewhere else, and they told me it was possible to have psychic shock. o.o'
