Changes in the sensations are normal. They come and go in cycles. It is actually a sign of progress when the sensations decrease like this. Working on something else like more relaxation or more concentration for a while helps. After making some progress with those or with trance states you will have an easier time making more progress with raising energy. Combining systems, by learning reiki or chi kung, can help, too. Another good thing to try is sharing energy with other people. Not much of an option for many of us, though, because of the difficulty of finding other people who work with energy.
Regarding ckmmon energy movement sensations Robert writes in AD p. 163 "Keep in mind that heavy energy-movement sensationsalways reduce as the energy body develops"
So the lessening of the sensations should according to R be expected and taken as a sign of positiove development.

Not all of the energy work I have done on myself is with my own energy. Other people have given me large quantities of energy through reiki attunements of various systems. This can bring back strong, rough energy sensations for a while when I am trying to learn to use and integrate the new energies. There were also periods of rapid growth for reasons of which I am not certain which were followed by the rougher kinds of sensations of moving energy. Every time the sensations calmed. Sharing energy with other people can be very helpful in breaking through a period when things seem to be stuck.
After strong sensations during a single session, I often can't get much sensation at all from the same spots the very next day. Sounds quite reasonable.
As long as you transition your awareness smoothly, you're doing it right, as far as I know, even if you don't feel anything. If you feel something that's good, and if you don't feel anything, that's good too.

I have been working with NEW everyday for about a month now. When I first started I experienced quite strong energy sensations while doing stirring, brushing and wrapping actions, after about the third week the sensations, particularly of stirring especially began to get more difficult to sense. The brushing action when used across my feet (from little to big toe and back) still produce a fairly strong response. And the wrapping action is still effective although not as noticeable as when I first began NEW.
Is this a fairly normal progression for Energy development?
I understand that blockages and energy resistance can cause strong sensations but I am also under the impression that you should become more aware of energy movement as you progress.
