Are things like that also discussed on one of these boards? Since they all seem to involve some sort of energy related to bodily functions I'm guessing NEW is the most appropriate board...

Does anyone know the best sources for getting into these?

boydster

Definitely, yes!! These concepts are discussed here.

Did you do a search query using the terms you mention? I tried it and got over 600 references. This forum has been up for a few years and there are many quality discussions already in existence for you to peruse. Or feel free to ask a question with a new thread.
The journey upwards is worth the inconvenience.

Yes of course I did. Unfortunately, all the websites I get are websites trying to make you buy expensive books, movies and tapes about it.

You'd think people would want to share the secrets of health, happiness and energy with the world for free, since it has enlightened them to be free from greed...

Or not.

Good day Tyciol!

I can at least relate that my hatha yoga experiences have shown me that it indeed raises energy.

If what you are looking for is a how to approach on these subjects, then there are many websites out there that do offer some information for free.  You'll have to spend some time sorting through them, as there are a lot of sites that want you to pay them money.

There are also many books out there that are not so expensive.  Probably no one book will have everything you need in exactly the way you need it, but you start somewhere and work from there.  I find that if you use amazon.com and buy used books, you can often find some great deals.

But for me, there has been nothing like learning in person with someone who is profecient in the area y ou wish to explore.  Of course, depending on where you live, you might not have access to people who are teaching what you want to learn...  But if you do find yourself in a place where people are teaching then you can usually find classes that are relatively cheap $10-$15 a session.  I'm sure that many teachers would try and work something out with you, if you do not have that kind of money to spend on classes.  (Although, I look at it that I probably friviously spend $10-$15 a week on things that I don't need and in order for these people to have a place to teach and be in physical condition to teach, they are going to need to pay for rent and food...)
