Though the close-ups are a bit fuzzy, It looks like Hematite.
James.
I did some research and I am almost 100% sure that it is Malachite. it describes what I have felt with it perfectly.
It's definitely not Malachite moogle.
Malachite has lots of light & dark green bands due to the copper content :

Hematite is much more like what you've got:

How heavy is it? To me it looks a bit like jet. Is it really light weight?
i think its kinda heavy for its size.
How do you know it can heal someone?
I don't. I was reading a book about healing stones and this had some characteristics.
what characteristics?
I can easily stimulate the stone with NEW. it feels like apart of my body when I set it on my brow chakra spot. I tried useing again the other night after forgeting about it for awhile, and it hurt! it felt like it was pirecing into my energy body. I kinda got the idea that it was mad at me.
ref. your lecture at Indore.

Please guide me for enhancing the power and physical and mental power.
that is not hematite. doesn't look like it at all.
i dont know what it does look like, i've never seen a stone like that before.
where did you get this stone at ?? i'm pretty well studied in stones, i'll look some stuff up and try to find something that is closer to that than hematite. i dont believe at all that that's what it is.
When you hold it up to the light, can you see through it? If yes, then it is Obsidian. If no, it could be flint or chert.
There is also a rock that looks like that with the glamorous name of river rock. I have several of those.
Another test, hold a magnet near it. Is it magnetic?
You could try chipping a bit off of one end -- though it is already pretty small. The outer surface has obviously been rough-polished. There are some types of petrified wood that are black.
It might be a type of hematite. That stuff comes in red and black, and can look like everything from polished metal to a meteorite look-alike.
