Advanced/high-potential novice Seeks Apprenticeship

Hiya.  My name's Jonathan and I've been informally studying magick, energy-work, orgone devices, and reality crafting for three or four years, with exponential growth.

Spiritually and physically, I feel great and that I'm making fantastic progress.  Monetarily, I feel cursed, and have yet to make heads or tails of this must-play game of society.  I admit I do bear some resentment towards selling my very life - many many hours of the HEALTHIEST YEARS OF MY LIFE - at discount rates in order to maintain food and shelter and poverty.  There is a better way, and I'm rather interested in walking it.  I know I begin walking it right here, but towards what?  My background is that of philosophy and the search for wisdom(understanding), since about kindergarten.  I have always been looking for the truth of this world, or the truth of the source from which this world is born.

I want a teacher.  A sensei.  A life-guru.  Someone who can show me the ropes of living in the world.  Someone who can show me the road of prosperity in all aspects of life and how to walk it.  Someone who understands what it's like to know great potential within themselves without understanding their matching purpose - and someone who can help me gain an understanding to my life's purpose, the one I was born to live.  I know I'm here to make sure life continues on Earth, but the vagueness of that idea has not given me peace.  I know that if I'm looking for advice, I should be looking for it from someone who already is where I want to be in that facet of my life.  Therefore, I'm interested in someone who lives in an abundance that promotes the abundance of others.  I'm interested in someone who quickly and consistently manifests their positive intentions.  I'm interested in someone who knows the signs that distinguish an obstacle from a dead end.  And most important, I'm interested in someone whose internal conflict is nearly silent, someone who has found peace in the winds of complementary order and chaos.

It is said that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear.  Have you?

It sounds to me that the real problem is that you are afraid of doing an actual job.  You say that you have amazing potential to affect society, but you refuse to put yourself before society and do the needed networking to make that difference.

yeah. seriously dude. no one really knows where the pitfalls are. just do like everyone else and push forward towards what you want, and pick yourself up whenever you fall down. if you need advice, get a therapist. what matters is not how many times you fall, but if someone's there for you when you fall. and i dont mean a teacher, i mean a significant other.

Go study Budhism, that fits what you want. Then get a job, a job you like. If you like your job, no matter how low in the cooperate ladder it is or so.. you will work well and will get promoted.

Blocking out society is just counterproductive. You have to realise that your here on this world and you have to live by its rules. A teacher can only help you spiritually and well Budhists are the best there.
People tend to forget where they are... its hard to put this in words but I will try.

You can study and be tought magick, energy work, etc. all you want. It will not progress you any further with your current problem, unemployment, society, social life, whatever. You need to find a balance between both and applying one to the other and expecting it to work is also wrong.
If you want to learn magick etc. to somehow influence a situation that you get a good job, although you normally wouldn't get it, or influence people directly forget it. Your wasting those healthiest years of your life. Freewill of other people cannot be broken.
Learn it for yourself instead and apply it to yourself. Apply it to situations if you must but let it guide itself. Once your selfimage is up, your charisma will follow. Things will bend around you so that it will work out in the end.
The other thing is you have to work for what you want in the physical... just plain work. If you think that you will do good just because you did some ritual or so you will likely fail.
You need to balance everything, thats the key. Look at the YingYang sign... it sums up how everything essentially works. Think of one side as your meditation stuff and magick and so on and the other side as society and how you live in it. If you think of that sign as explaining the relationship between good and evil because of its colors your just touching the borderline of its meaning.

And by the way you said something about manifesting positive intentions:
Positive intentions only manifest through you acctually doing something. If you help others in need things will start working out for you too.... give and receive. Same thing again as above acctually.
For example one night someone approached me asking for money to fund his studies, I gave it to him. That night I meet a girl who I took out on a date the next week and probably still will in the future.

there are quite a few things you can do to meet your teacher.

you can send out vibrations to call upon or attract your teacher to you (in the physical world during transe)

you can astral travel and meet your spirit guides and guardians

you can try scrying to see who is the teacher you will meet and when will you meet him

i too have been seeking someone like this but i have got no luck yet.
maybe you can teach me some things

As for Buddhism, there is this one sentence that I'd like to dedicate to you:
" The hand of the master, which is showing you the moon, is also the same hand, which is blocking you the view of it".

Have you considered being your own guru?  No guru will give you answers, because the answers will be his/her truths and not yours. So why live according to someone else's truth? You are a divine being and and have all the answers inside of you. This is not just an empty statement. Manifest your own divinity. No one can do it for you. Besides, why would you want to give some of your potential away (if not all)? Teacher-student relationships (like all relationships) are based on energy exchange. If the "master" won't be pure, you'll end up being his battery- he'll be using your energy for his own purpose. You'd be surprised how many teachers do this. What makes things worse is the fact that they might not be concious of it. As for abundance and manifestations remember that you, as a being, have no limits and you will not manifest anything, unless you will fully believe that you already have everything you want. Abundance is a state of mind. Try affirmations like these:

I see right through appearances and illusions and know that abundance is all mine.
My abundant thoughts and actions lead in the perfect direction of my desires.
I AM thankful for the limitless, overflowing Source of my abundance.
I AM showered with blessings and my Divine Inheritance.
God provides me with all that I desire, whenever I desire it for as long as I desire it.
God provides me with more than enough substance and supply.
I AM easily, openly and freely accepting abundance, now!
I receive an unmatchable supply of abundance in my Life daily.
I AM always in the right place at the right time.
I live in the likeness and image of God's Divine Abundance.
I AM the Spirit of Infinite Plenty. I am boundless abundance, and with love in my heart, I let the universal riches stream forth into perfect manifestation.
