Well he supposedly took some sort of energy and transferred it through the crystal to different colors of the spectrum.

i didn't know if it was part of some greater scheme though. (i.e. a ritual of some sort)

well how you do it is take the type of "energy" you want, transfer it/channel it into the crystal and then squirt it out  into whatever color you want

Just by looking at his "aura" I can tell its bs. If he was truly "drawing", even his aura would distort toward the object, as if the crystal was a vaccume.
