I believe and respect the Ouiji boards powers. This is because, at my 9th birthday party, I recieved a ouiji board (the small crappy kind) from my friend. I laughed at it, and left it (in its box) on the floor of my room. The next day, when I got up, I tripped over it and broke my leg. I now respect its powers!

Well now I can say I know of one clear example of someone being hurt by a Ouija Board.  [:O]

Hi,

You really cannot DO anything to protect yourself to any significant degree.  

This sounds radical, but let me explain:

Protection is not so much about technique or "doing" something properly as it is about the quality of your overall spiritual development.  It's not that techniques don't do anything, but rather that they are limited in their usefulness by the degree of development of the person using them.  A negative spiritual enemy will use your weaknesses against you.  Your weaknesses include primarily your ego and your energy body.  The only real form of defense is to reduce and eventually eliminate your ego and to develop and strengthen your energy body.  Both of these take a LOT of time and effort...WORK.  Until you do this work, no "techniques" will provide you with any significant degree of protection.

This is particularly important to understand when you are thinking of using a Ouija board or some other form of mediumship or channelling.  All of these things are essesntially giving an outside entity permission to enter inside of you and have at least partial direct control over you...a risky proposition at best.  

Personally, I advise working on AP or lucid dreaming instead of dabbling with mediumship or spiritism.  I have never heard about anyone ever being hurt that way beyond being scared back into the physical, and you can easily access spirits or guides from the astral.  Granted it takes more work than just picking up a Ouija board, but it's well worth the effort, much safer, and (at least in my opinion) superior in every way to any form of channelling.

as my titled post goes, my question on the ouiji board is that on how to protect yourself when using, now i know many people have differant beliefs about it but this one is mine, now those of you aware of things like possesion i would lke to have some sort of info on what to do for protecting yourself from negs. also those of you who dont know what theyre doing when they mess with one of these heres a tip: when playing with a ouiji board you are opening up realms to the otherside, demons and all sorts of spiritual energies come through it, thats why it is my duty to ask such a question about this, has anyone here seen the exorcist, if you have do you know why she got posessed? i do it was the ouiji board she showed her mother, she wanted captain.... umm someone to come through so im asking if anyone knows, what should you do before a ouiji board session? like how do you protect yourself before hand? i hope for many replies thank you[8D]
