This friend of yours has no idea what real magic is. Magic takes practice, emotion, rising and sending of energy, etc., and not just a bunch of useless, non-rhyming poems. I suggest your friend read Green Magic by Ann Moura to understand more about energy work.

I agree whit rantboi. When you have the right state of conscious, intention, skill (techniques, control and experience) you can make changes in reality, the right use of words and the way to pronounce them can help you to achieve this, but words have no power on their own.

I'm not going to grade the site as it would surely disappoint you, but I hope he takes rantboi advice and investigate what magic really is, I might bring him many new things of interest.

According to Servants Of the Light just doing rituals without development of yourself can be dangerous, as you can go insane.  There are "seeds" in the subconscoius of many that need to be addressed before magic, otherwise they can come out as insanity.
