Hi everyone!

I've been lurking here for a while and thought I'd finally join... I've been practicing astral projection for almost a decade now - just not very well most of the time, which is why I've only had clusters of success over the years. When I first found out about it I started practicing very often and enthusiastically and got some good experiences from very early on, so I knew there was something to it - it was all so exciting! - but over time I lost it and it started to seem like an uphill battle. Thankfully I don't feel that way anymore.

I've been making more of a consistent effort again over the last few months, first with meditation and then with astral practices again, and I'm starting to get somewhere... Right now I'm just experimenting with different things to find what works best for me, and trying the phasing approach (almost there...), which was sort of new to me. I know I'll eventually get it working again, just need to keep practicing. There's been a totally different energy to it in recent months, so I'm optimistic about the way things are going :)

Anyway, nice to be here - I've already learned so much from reading your posts and I'm excited about learning more from you all, and hopefully i can contribute in some way :) There's some great info and great people here... See you around!

Greetings bluelily
That 'uphill' battle that you describe actually happens to most people (myself included). A person begins enthusiastically and is heartened by early successes. Yet over the long run it can be hard to keep up the motivation and practice.
It is also true that most people have 'dry spells' when very few, if any, OBEs will occur no matter how much time and effort is put into it. So try to stay positive and hopefully something good will happen soon.

Good luck  :-)
