Is kirlian photography related to what we see as auras?

I don't know much about science and I need some help to answer this question. I wonder if kirlian photography is actually about what we see as auras. I understand that it is somehow related to bioelectric energy but if what we see as auras is electromagnetic fields then why is it that I don't feel much difference(I mean not the same feeling that I have by touching human auras but there is something about them) by touching the area around magnets or electrical devices. And if it was something as explainable as bio-electricity then how can they explain that humans can see them even better than scientific instruments?

QuoteKirlian photography is often confused with aura photography. Although the similarities are obvious, they are two very different techniques. In aura photography there is no voltage and no direct contact with the photographic plate.

Many paranormal enthusiasts still claim that the aura captured by Kirlian photography is some sort of "life force". However this is easily debunked:

1)    Kirlian photographs can be taken of anything moist or conductive, including coins, paper clips, etc.
2)    Kirlian photographs taken in a vacuum (where no ionized gas is present) show no aura.
3)    Some people claim that a living object slowly loses its aura after it dies. This is more easily explained by the fact that it loses its moisture.

Hi,
Kirlian photography is very useful in diagnosis of ailments. Most people's pattern is resonably similar. Stressed people have gaps around their fingers. Seriously ill people have a totally different pattern. I've made a few if these ' cameras' in the late 70's and one particular pattern was massive. It extended around 10 inches from the persons hand. He said everything is ok and carried on as usual. The next day he was in hospital having some complaint with his stomach.
Other things to note are get a fresh leaf see its image. Cut a section off the leaf and compare it to the original. You still see a full leaf with the removed piece somewhat hazy on the plate.
Ok on moisture and conductivity having effects. This requires a circuit and resting on a plate theres no circuit. It relies on resonance as changing the frequency of the device has a large effect on the item.
As far as clairvoyant aura goes. Its only similar.
Still interesting though.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

next to some Russian scientists (as I've heard) it is Harry Oldfield who does the best research in this area, must-watch:

Hi Rezaf, I know that Kirlian photography is NOT how I see the Aura, the human Aura is a luminescent light that looks quite alive and is.
Why cant science see it? Because we see it with our minds..our expanded consciousness...and bear in mind that the aura is an aspect of our human spirit.
So if scientist invent a machine that can see spirit people, then that would be able to see Auras.

As for the photography, I am not an expert but I do know that it is a good interpretation of our energy fields (even if it doesn't look like that exactly) I know some excellent psychics that use the photographs to give very accurate readings.

Regards  :-)
