My pendulum doesnt work ?

Ok well i was using my pendulum yesterday and it didnt seem to move at all, well i tried again today and it seems to work now! but the thing is how much/fast does the pendulum move or is suppose to move, mine seems to move a tiny bit in circles clock wise and counter clock wise, and i was wondering if when the pendulum does move.. does it move exajuratidly (sp?) or is it very minute and small circles like mine has been doing ? and is there anyway to make it move in larger circles to get a clearer answear ? thanks again everyone []

welcome to this forum!
The amplitude of the pendulum's swing depends on the individual, but as soon as you're used to it it should give clear movements.. when you're new to it you might need some time to try out different positions to hold it, thread lengths, or you might have to find the necessary relaxed state of mind first... I'm confident though that it's just a matter of 'getting to know' the pendulum.
The speed of movement depends (according to physics) solely to the length of the thread/chain, but the amplitude will increase quickly with some practice.

hey! im new here, and i just bought a pendulum last week and got it today, well i was trying to get it to give me the yes/no directions and well.. it doesnt move at all.. is there something im doing wrong ? and also when you ask it do you have to look at it somewhere ?
