A friend of mine is doing a project for a Psuedoscience class. She needs to write a report on a method that tests the validity of retrocognition, and it's results on 10 subjects.

1. What are your thoughts on retrocognition?

2. Do you have any suggestions on some sort of method to test recognition?

What it is:

"Retrecognition is a type of clairvoyance involving knowledge of something after its occurrence through psychic means."
The website I pulled this from (http://skepdic.com/retrocog.html) then goes on to describe a situation in which a woman, we'll call her Mary, is watching the news and hears a story about some children who were supposedly abducted by a man while they were with their mother. Their mother said they were carjacked, then the man drove for a bit, and let her out of the car on an empty stretch of road near a lake, and drove off with the two boys. Upon hearing this story, Mary instantly gets a feeling that the children are dead and in the lake. A few days later the news ran a follow-up saying the mother had been arrested for putting her car on drive with her kids in the back seat and sending it over the edge into the lake.

So that's the example they give.
