So now that I have your attention.

When my best friend used to come over and stay the night, when we were about 8, we had this very odd thing we would do for hours on end. We would get in the bed, put the sheets up ( so it would be dark ), close our eyes, and put our heads together.

Then we would imagine the same thing, we liked to imagine that we were in WW2 or something. Anyway, though we were just laying in bed, not using our physical bodies at all, we would both enter into this "joint-imagination" thing, and would be imagining the same thing, playing in the same imagination. It was one of the most realistic things I've ever experienced. I know it wasn't just my childish thoughts running wild, because on numerous occasions we would prove to each other that it was true. He could have been lying, but I doubt it, he's not a liar, and I know I wasn't lying, either.

As we got older, it became harder and harder to do this. Until it got to the point that we could do it no longer.

I honestly have on clue what we were doing back then, but it wasn't normal, and it was pretty cool, and I'd like to know if anyone knows what it is, or maybe has had similar experiences?

i have one question, did you feel you self leave you body?

b12145

when both of you put the covers on, you disconnected your self from the outside world. then when you put your heads together your minds became sort of linked or connected to each other. both of you went in a trance state at went to a world where anything you thought of happened, there things felt even more realistic than on earth, this place was the astral world. it felt like a dream but only real.

When I was a little girl I would put my brow centre to my sister's brow centre and say look into my eyes and I will look into yours . We would think and dream to each other . We performed soul rescues for dead Vietnam soldiers . We saw prophetic visions having to do with family events . I too , wonder how little children recall to do this so innocently without instruction . I lament that adults often tell kids that they cannot do these things , that there are no lovely friends with whom we fly at night like Peter Pan and that we cannot go see dead relatives we miss . I feel we limit human potential when we tell kids what is impossible . We should try instead to let them show us what is possible .
