Weird prediction

A few years ago I've noticed that I've kind of predicted t.v. episodes. (no i did not use the info button!    Like spongebob or somethin. I didn't think much of it but I was wondering what you guys though!

Much of what is on TV is pretty bloody predictable. No special powers needed I'm afraid. 

It is almost as if humans take comfort in that predictability. The scenarios might be unusual, e.g. vampires vs aliens, but the writers still manage to make it predictable.

Highly unusual and unpredictable scenarios won't sell to the general public and hence won't make any money.

yeah thats how they keep us glued to the television, by keeping up the intrest and researching what we are most likely to watch, I've found that by not watching as much television I lose intrest in it and thus have more time to do other things that tend to be more important, try going with out television for a week or two. and instead goto your local liberary.
