Loerie

An Audio interview with bob monroe where he talks about some of the deeper parts of his jouney

I searched the forum to see if this one had been posted already, but I don't see it here. It's one of my favorites.

He speaks among other things about his longing for "home," and how he came to the realization that he had left that home because it was boring. Very interesting lens. I found the quality of discussion uplifting.
He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged life destroy
He who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in eternity's sunrise.

Thanks for posting, Loerie! Yes, if creation didn't find it more interesting to express itself in infinite ways, it would have been a blob of static energy lol.

I remember in one of his 3 books he wrote about this issue as well. Before he came into the Earth School he used to be a being in a kind of energy state where they were kind of going through energy swirls and galaxies all the time, but 'all the time' was not enough anymore, so he decided to try out sth new. At least that is how I remember it.

This is a great find, thank you for it Loerie!

I stumbled across Journeys Out of the Body when I was 11 years old, back in 1973...it was possibly the second book I had ever purchased...that's how important I felt it was, even given my limited funds, lol Talking with the staff at Monroe, this kind of synchronous book encounter was not unusual at the time for many of us.

The interview is excellent but newer listeners may be put off a bit by Monroe's terminology. You have to understand that he was not particularly religious beyond a basic and non-specific, Christian upbringing and so, he had to necessarily create his own and personal descriptions, terminology and framework of reference for what he was perceiving in the Non-Physical Realms. So, there are some slight incongruities within his ongoing descriptions...God bless him, he is a Pathfinder for all the rest of us!

His mention of his I/There is easily lost and confused to the audience...by this, he means his Oversoul, his Soul Group, deciding to construct his current Self of its various parts...and that speaks to both you and me and us...

So, Monroe is actually describing an awareness of, and a communication with, his Higher Self and Parts...

Bruce Moen describes the very similar idea of his Disk- A series of many personalities which are permanent members of his Disk, his Soul Group, from which new, experimental combinations of Disk Personalities are combined and placed within various Realities such as ours...

Now I have done 5 week-long courses at TMI, but I don't pretend to have reached this level of experience...We make attempts at it with Focus 27 and 34/35 and 42 excursions...this seems to be a hit or miss kind of exploration, both for me and the other participants. I will say that I think the possibility of the experience is there. I feel very close to it. Many of us get glimpses of it, from time to time.

Robert Monroe was a natural for this; it turns out he was destined to be our new world 'pathfinder' for this exploration of the Non-Physical Realms.

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Yes exactly. Concepts such as "reincarnation", "past lives", "coming back as....." etc. imply a sequential/linear process  which have no basis as they imply the involvement of "time" ,which does not exist. All "lives" on Earth, or other planet, are actually concurrent expressions of the Higher Self, each taking place independently in the Now, so the Higher Self can gain all the necessary very diverse experience required to continue its Spiritual progression. "Past life regressions" are effectively "channelling" the Higher Self which has absolute knowledge and awareness of all concurrent lives. Until the age of seven or so, children are still very close to the Spiritual realms, including the Higher Self, so a "child's past life" is a child being aware of an alternative expression of the child's own Higher Self. This is also what Moen and Monroe are referring to in the context of their own experiences, the "I there" being a reference to the Higher Self, the Eternal Spirit
