It looks like the "mysterious booms" of 2011 are back and they seem to be multiplying now. Everyone seems to be perplexed. Scientists have no explanations.
Linda Moulton Howe has documented all the recent cases to perfection here on her website. But a Youtube search of the subject will give you television news coverage of the weird phenomenon as well.

These are weird.
There was one in Bray a few years ago. We thought a bomb had gone off. There was a bright flash and a boom so loud it caused car alarms to go off around the village. It was a cloudless sky at about 8pm and it was getting dark. The emergency services piled into the village causing a traffic jam. Ceri (a friend) went out to ask the firemen where they were going... they said there was a suspected plane crash or explosion.
The next day... there was nothing. No news in the paper.
We went white as sheets when it happened. I was seriously waiting for a blast wave.
Hmm. that's weird cause just the other night, maybe like 3-4 days ago, me and my girlfriend heard some very loud booms and we thought it was thunder. Or maybe even the people upstairs from us moving there chairs around. But now I think about it, they move their chairs around all the time and this noise sounded nothing like the chairs moving.
Good post !
