Oh my god... have they not seen 'The Time Machine'?

I heard from a navajo indian that the government to stop the earth tipping on its axis, that was apparently forseen by using technology gleaned from the Roswell crash, decided to melt the polar icecaps with high altitude nuclear detonations.

The U.S. is a land mass.
And if someone wanted to nuke the Moon, it would be to nuke someone who's on the Moon.

 They SAY they wanted to nuke it as a show of force aimed at the USSR, but who knows. They will never tell the truth anyways. Just the thought that they even considered it was bad enough in my books.
