There are many dates given for the end of Kali Yuga. It's confusing.

Yes, I've read here and there too that it would be 'soon' or even 'now' (this year) and a positive shift will be occurring then but there are other (hindi, astronomical, etc.) sources that state something very differently.

I am not at all a Wikipedia fan for many reasons, but there it says it will be in the year 428,899 CE. So we would need to wait 'a little' longer.

I am watching the video and Swami V touches upon what you're saying above.
It's around 1 hour 30-40 minutes in.

I do hope you give it a watch and find something helpful. It seems there are things that really interest me that sometimes fall on deaf ears. Before continuing, please know that I am not saying this is the case with you.

I once gifted my Aunt a book, something I found truly inspirational. She returned it to me without reading it, condemning the man and the material. Though I shouldn't be upset, because I see it all too often, it can still be a little upsetting when others judge data without actually absorbing the data. It's been weighing on my mind again.

So please don't take my upset personal. My response is more so to a larger audience, not just any one individual, and as a moment of self reflection. I see I too am quick to judge. It really is a practice to unlearn such behavior. I suppose recognizing this in my self allows room for understanding and forgiveness. Though it can feel a little isolating when you find something that excites you, something that you think might help others, and then the help is tossed in the mud.

But again... I am guilty of the same. And we understand that there is a time and a place for everything. It is quite a mature sense of love that gives and ask or expects nothing in return. I think that's a difficult lesson for many of us. 

I am presently attempting to work through material I have never thought I'd be interested in. And I am amazed to find inspiration from a living Spirit through distinct and different schools of thought/philosophy. Ultimately, when we exchange spiritual ideas and beliefs, what matters most is ones personal relationship with that Living Intelligence. For all intents and purposes, I call that energy God. And no matter where you are in your journey, God can and will speak to you.

I watched it all and found it very educational. I did get lost in some parts with the more complex information related to astronomy, but I was able to understand the general concept. I also liked the part that connects the chakras with the elements, planets, and zodiac signs.
I truly hope this world takes a turn and can transcend as many have been saying. I don't know who that incarnate Lord is, but he seems like an important and influential figure.

I spent a lovely afternoon eating homemade pudding, drinking tea, and watching this streaming, it was so relaxing! I'm left with his message of not living in fear, but rather being centered in moral, spiritual, and conscious values.
These years will be true challenges for the Earth.

Yes, I'm not too versed with Hindu prophecy.

As I understand the legend, Lord Kalki is a God born a man. Lord Kalki was born September 14th 2014.

Swami Vidyadhishananda, alongside other esteemed monks/saints- plan to meet this boy at the age of 14 in 2028.

Swami believes, by the endowment of spiritual prowess and simply being born, this young man will help avert a nuclear disaster.

He also says great Rishis are here now, and their blessings are available to us.
