My mate does that actually but means it.

I send him videos and he says "yeah... I saw that last week/month/year"

I showed him one this week... he said 'is this new?' I said 'No? I've had it on my wall for about a week' He said "why didn't you tell me?"

Even though you are shown the scale.. it's just hard to comprehend. It's comprehensible... but at a profoundly 'WHAAAAAAAAAAAT???' level.
