Hello,

a long ride on a bus or in a car helps me focus, you have nothing to do but look ahead.

I also suggest fasting, because it reduces alot of unnecessary emotions which lead to memories, emotions like anger and regret are very common for me.

If your gonna fast, break it at night and then do it again the next day, when your breaking it, drink water first and eat slowly or your stomach will be hurting.

Practice :)

I've recently started working on testing & improving my focus by counting breaths. Mostly I reach 30ish before loosing track and having to start again.

The key is, you have to CONCENTRATE on the counting - don't let your mind wander to other subjects while your brain carries on 'automatically' counting for you. That's the hard part.

Hello, I have just joined the forum.  I am one of the administrators from personal-freedom.org/empower forums, if you've been there you've probably seen me.  Anyways, I have come here to ask if anyone has any ideas, or techniques they use to get there mind to focus only on one thing.  I appear to be unable to focus just on the only thing I am doing, and my mind wants to wonder about other things.  I have read Robert's book that he published in 94, and gained tons of information.  I tried his focusing guides, but they don't seem to work very well. Anyone got any other techniques?
Thank you.  My name is Daniel Miller.
