Hi everyone! I was wondering if you are able to take on any form in the astral/oobe, such as a dragon or an animal?
I have heard that on the astral plane you can shape shift with mere thought alone,so i think the answer to that question would have to be yes.
Yes you can, you have absolutely no limits in the astral planes. Anything you think and focus on will happen, that can also be a bad thing so watch what you think.

Well, I believe it's impossible to take possession of another live persons body, because they're already in possession of a spirit. However, when you think about possessing a non-living body... it gets interesting. Yes, but that's where the question is - if when you die your spirit is knocked out of your body, if you wish to return why can't you? Is it so that you cannot take possession of any physical embodiment? If so that would spark a lot of questions concerning "demons" possessing humans. These demons are supposedly nothing but spirits that have died in physical form already, therefore the only difference they have from us is that they have no connection to any physicality whatsoever, such as their previous body. If they can possess live humans that contain spirits, why can't they repossess their empty, spiritless body? If they truly can achieve possession of live humans is it possible they can possess you while OOB? As far as an object of consciousness taking physical form, since the object is of physical properties the object must be manifested in the physical plane. Just as in the ethereal or astral planes you manifest an object of that planes properties. For example, if you create an object in the astral planes in a place that also exists in the physical plane, such as your room, when you return to the physical plane the object will not be visible because it is of the astral plane. If you could see anything from the astral plane or ethereal plane (such as a spirit, or a parasitic being) while in the physical plane perhaps your idea would be possible. That's just my opinion anyway, if you don't wish to abide by it, it's perfectly fine.

Reincarnation is not simply through your bloodline. What if you die and are reincarnated but no further extensions of your bloodline exist, meaning there are no babies for you to incarnate into!
Possessing another body is rarely reported, or the reports lack adequate evidence to be considered credible. So thus it's considered unreal until proven otherwise. Astral travel is a reflection of consciousness. So you can be aware of both your physical and astral self at the same time. You never really leave your body completely for it to be possessed in the first place. You can't simply slip into someone else. I'd say there'd be drastic consequences if you could.
