Title: A strange drifting feeling...
Post by: tetrabane on May 01, 2010, 16:29:35
Whenever it's night time or even during the afternoon, I notice that if im sitting upright my conscience always has this weird melting feeling.Like I could pop out any second. Now naturally i don't get carried with the tide cause I'm still having my day so I snap back into reality and i feel glued back into my body again. It's really weird but has anyone had this happen to them?Cause for me it happens about every night!I having been trying to have OBE's very much lately might i've been using lots of lucid dream techniques (Mental imagery and saying the key words of my dream as soon as i wake up".

So anyone have similar sensations?

PS: The only time i OBE'ed was while i was sitting upright.Maybe that's just my ideal position.

Did you use some technique to achieve OBE or did it came naturally?

This happens everytime to me. I am laying down, and I just feel like I am drifting away from my psychical body. I usually pull myself back, though, since the few times I gave into it's will, I fell asleep.

You're simply daydreaming... it doesn't necessarily have to be a "scene".
You could just get lost in a thought.

At least that's how I would describe the "melting" feeling I get during my days.

I hope that helps some.

Since I have taken on a regular trance practice, anytime i drift into a light trance during the day (zone out) I feel like that.

Didn't used to happen when i would day dream or zone out.  But something about the trance work has changed the way i react when my brainwaves change.

Hm so I guess it's just a permanent side effect of learning how to OBE. And nope, I don't do it on purpose. It just...happens sometimes.
