Bilocation is an aspect of the astral proper. In the etheric state you're limited to being disconnected or you risk being pulled in.
I had many lessons on disconnection way back and the only stable experiences with bilocation and trilocation were in the astral proper.
You require absolute control and an awareness that exceeds that of being physically awake.
It's not a task that's doable without a decade or two of experiences behind you IMO.
You'll find travelling to the moon a hundred times easier.
